‘Hooked On Government Money’: Greenpeace Co-Founder Who Mocked AOC Calls ‘Green’ Scientists Corrupt

In this radio interview, Patrick Moore calls out Environment for using Fear and Guilt, and AOC for being an ignorant bully.

People who live in cities, he explained, mentioning Occasional Cortex, take the things they have in the city for granted. They don’t stop to think about where any of it comes from. Food comes from the Supermarket. Farmers, concrete production and the entirety of life outside of the city doesn’t even register to them.

That’s why he hammered AOC so hard when she brought forward the Green New Deal. If implemented, the cities would literally face mass starvation.

But “she’s the boss”, right?

Scepticism, he reminds us, is the BASIS of science.

Here is the quote where he jackhammers the ‘scientific community’ for being on the take.

And so you’ve got the green movement creating stories that instill fear in the public. You’ve got the media echo chamber — fake news — repeating it over and over and over again to everybody that they’re killing their children. And then you’ve got the green politicians who are buying scientists with government money to produce fear for them in the form of scientific-looking materials. And then you’ve got the green businesses, the rent-seekers, and the crony capitalists who are taking advantage of massive subsidies, huge tax write-offs, and government mandates requiring their technologies to make a fortune on this. And then, of course, you’ve got the scientists who are willingly, they’re basically hooked on government grants. [Emphsis added]

When they talk about the 99 percent consensus [among scientists] on climate change, that’s a completely ridiculous and false number. But most of the scientists — put it in quotes, scientists — who are pushing this catastrophic theory are getting paid by public money, they are not being paid by General Electric or Dupont or 3M to do this research, where private companies expect to get something useful from their research that might produce a better product and make them a profit in the end because people want it — build a better mousetrap type of idea. But most of what these so-called scientists are doing is simply producing more fear so that politicians can use it to control people’s minds and get their votes because some of the people are convinced, ‘Oh, this politician can save my kid from certain doom.’

At about the 8:30 mark, Moore explains why a Co-Founder of Greenpeace is NOT convinced that catastrophe awaits us.

In the beginning, the movement was about both ‘Green’ and ‘Peace’. They sailed boats in opposition to nuclear testing. They cleaned up rivers. They opposed commercial whaling.

But then in the 80s things changed. It became JUST about ‘the environment’ and NOT about benefiting humanity. It became a “Humans are bad” movement pitting man against nature.

Then he mentioned their ridiculous non-scientific plan to ban chlorine that caused him to leave the movement entirely. He says they were hijacked by eco-fascists.

He’s not even a Republican. He’s a Canadian Centrist, but he’s scientifically-minded and a results-driven pragmatist.

To ban fossil fuels in 10 years, for example, wouldn’t work. For one thing, food production would collapse and no food would make it into the cities.

He was asked if the environmental movement had become like a religion. He answered, “Rebecca, it’s not just a religion, it’s kind of like a toxic mix of religion and ideology; of politics and religion. It’s just absolutely toxic as far as I belive. They are against humans! Why would humans be against humans? Especially when we have developed such an incredible civilization. And the idea that we are killing the Earth is crazy. I guess too many people live in cities where there is too much concrete. Cities only take up 2% of the total landscape. The rest of the landscape is mostly green and beautiful, with clean air and clean water and crops growing. But they’ve got this idea that everything’s been poisoned… such a doomsday image.

He wento on to blast the dishonest use of the word ‘Carbon’ as a placeholder for Carbon Dioxide. “C02 is the FOOD for life. It is what life is based on.”

The whole show is worth hearing, honestly, but if you listen to nothing else in this episode, listen to the 2 minutes from the 18-20 minute marks, where he covers ideas the Eco-fascists couldn’t even fit into their narrow worldview.

He goes on to call the Eco movement the “greatest threat to the Enlightenment since Galileo.”

“The term ‘deniers’ is specifically associating us with people who deny the Holocaust. “That’s why they chose that term. And the Left is very clever with words. I’ve studied Trotsky and all the Leftist propogandists though history and that’s what we’re dealing with here. I wanna know who the Sunrise movement is. THAT’s who’s behind AOC. She doesn’t know any of this stuff. She’s just a good spokesperson, and she’s very presentable. And so she’s a perfect vehicle to deliver this into the fake media… what billionaire is behind that?”

That’s a good question.

While the Left pretends to hate dark money, their own benefactors are quietly throwing an awful lot of it around.

You can see it in her eyes, she’s got big plans for America. Big, psychotic plans.

Plans for putting a stake through the heart of industry, in the name of Democratic Socialism. Plans for dismantling ICE and letting illegals stream over our borders. Plans for outlawing cars, and our burgers. Because otherwise, the world will end in 12 years. And you’d better do it, or else, because she’ll tell ya “I’m The Boss!”
