The Good, Bad & Ugly Sides Of ANGER – Part 1

We cover righteous anger, going bezerk, and everything in-between.

Anger is a good thing — when put in its proper place and context when standing up for what’s right and putting down injustice.

You see it when Jesus flipped the table or Elijah called fire down from heaven, or when Saul had the Spirit rouse him to anger before he led Israel to battle to defeat their enemies.

But not all anger is ‘holy’ and justified — just ask the Apostles who got slapped down for wanting to call down fire on their ‘enemies’ and destroy them (Luke 9:54).

There are some things that we are not supposed to get wrapped around the axle over.

And it takes wisdom to know the difference.

Sit down, strap in and enjoy. There’s something in here for everyone.

You’ll get to hear some war stories about when both of us got it wrong, and what we learned from it.

E93: The Good, Bad & Ugly Sides Of ANGER – Part 1

Some of their tips for how to deal with Rage:

1) Be slow to anger… (because God is).

2) Be Certain. (Make sure that the thing you’re angry about is legitimately righteous anger… because most things that take
us there — aren’t.)

3) Be Measured. (Don’t be angry all the time. The kingdom is Righteousness, Peace and Joy… not perpetual rage. Let it go.)

Listen to the podcast to hear their war stories, and see how just because you’re Right in the argument doesn’t necessarily mean you’re right to be angry.

Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.
