Democrat Values on Display

Roy E. Disney, son of Walt Disney, once said, “When your values are clear to you, making decisions becomes easier.” The young Mr. Disney is right. When what a person values is clear to him or her, making decisions is not that hard. That’s why values matter and why they will be a huge part of the 2020 election.

Democrat values are clear and, if they are elected, it should be no surprise what they do. What do Democrats stand for? Let’s look.

The expansion of the LGBTQ Agenda. America is ready for a gay president. This is the conclusion David Byler comes to in his Washington Post column from March 26, 2019 about the candidacy of Pete Buttigieg, South Bend, IN’s gay mayor. He writes, “A couple of decades ago, Buttigieg’s sexuality probably would have been a deal-breaker. But polling data suggests that American opinions on LGBT issues have shifted dramatically over the past couple of decades, and those shifts have created real room for a gay candidate.” Fox News anchor Chris Wallace, who seems to be more and more a Never Trump acolyte, said of Mayor Pete at a Fox Town Hall, “ he breaks the mold and voters seem to be very intrigued by that at this point.”

This is, ironically, the same Town Hall in which Wallace allowed Buttigieg to lie and smear co-workers at Fox without pushing back.

If the Democrats win in 2020, expect the full onslaught of the LGBTQ political agenda.

Abortion on demand as a health and human right. Sarah Jones, in a May 17, 2019 Intelligencer article chillingly entitled, “Abortion is Morally Good,” argues, “There is only one just and moral response to the anti-abortion movement, and that is to strike down its arguments in their entirety. A fetus is a possibility, not a person. While abortion can be the tragic end to a wanted pregnancy, it’s never murder.” She concludes by challenging the Democrats to not support any pro-life candidate, even those few who remain Democrats. Dr. Warren N. Hern wrote an article called “Pregnancy Kills. Abortion Saves Lives” for The New York Times in which he notes the “serious health risks” of every pregnancy to the mother.

The Democrats of 2019-2020 are committed to make sure that the womb is not sanctuary for the unborn.

The push to take away your money and redistribute wealth. The Democrats argue that the economic turnaround under President Trump hasn’t benefited everyone. Robert Reich opines in the San Francisco Chronicle, May 20, 2019, “The personal economy drives votes, and most Americans think their personal
economy is lousy.” My sense is, though, that his assertion is more hope than it is fact. The economy is booming under President Trump and, across the country, people are thriving. Sen. Bernie Sanders, commenting on the wealth of America, said, “Democratic socialism to me, is creating a government and an economy and a society which works for all. In a wealthy, democratic, civilized society like our own, people are entitled to certain basic rights.”

So, Crazy Bernie recognizes ours is a country of wealth. He’d like to take some of your wealth (not so
much his) and spread it around. Sleepy (or is it Creepy) Joe Biden isn’t much different. On Saturday,
May 4, 2019, Biden said, “First thing I’d do is repeal those Trump tax cuts.”

Even though doing so would rob most Americans of more of their hard-earned money, Biden is adamant that the President’s tax cuts be repealed. His insistence has been so ridiculously tied to lies that both the New York Times and the Washington Post have called him out for it.

The Democrats in 2020 believe if you have money, you shouldn’t. They plan to take it away.
What do the Democrats do to promote these values? That’s an easy one. They lie, cheat and use their
allies in the media to distort and shape the news. We see that now. It will only get worse as the calendar pushes ahead to 2020.

Roy Disney was right. When your values are clear, decisions are easy to make. The Democrats values
are clear to us. This is just a sampling of what they hold dear. If they can, they will make America into the country they desire. These are their values. The question is, are they yours?
