Traffic jams due to rubberneckers have always been a problem, but now that we all carry phones in our pocket, it’s that much worse.
One cop in Germany had the perfect solution.
When drivers were pulling out their phones to snap a pic of a fatal traffic accident, the cop was pulling drivers out of their cars so they could come get a REALLY close look at the driver.
He was embarrassing the motorists by humanizing the victims. And then he slapped the fine on them.

“Do you want to see the dead people? Picture? Come on!”
“Why are you taking pictures? If you want, you can say hello to him. Do you want to?”
Maybe a few cops on our side of the Atlantic should borrow this ‘shaming’ tactic.
