Zuckerberg’s digital book-burnings continue, but they sure do seem selective.
They’ve got zero-tolerance for non-violent groups whose ideas offend the professional hall monitors at CNN (looking at you Oliver Darcy!)

Facebook claims to be a neutral forum that does not discriminate politically but instead only imposes “community standards” that serve the interest of “safety.” That is, without question, a lie.
Milo Yiannopoulos is a danger to no one except for those unfortunate enough to be standing between him and a camera or hair-care products. Laura Loomer is a dope who once interrupted a play in New York (but did it with no panache). Facebook is excluding them because Facebook’s executives are sometimes embarrassed by the way their product is used, and they are easy to shame into submission in the political monoculture of Silicon Valley. The BS about “safety” is pure pretext.
There is blood on the streets in Venezuela. But the Democratic Socialists of America are free to defend the Maduro regime on Facebook. Why? Because socialists don’t embarrass tech executives, but Alex Jones does.

The blacklisting of Farrakhan was only as a result of Farrakhan becoming the poster boy proving Social Media censors’ rank hypocrisy. The man was proudly and publicly antisemetic, and even Left-wing ‘fact checkers’ at Snopes had to acknowledge Farrakhan had made specific calls for violence.
So in their latest of several purges of Right-of-center voices (that WaPo and the Atlantic rushed to call ‘extremist’), they dropped Farrakhan in to make it seem less partisan. But the PartisanPress got their messaging wrong. They massaged the wrong message.
Instead of framing the purge as non-partisan — see, we’re not just singling out conservatives — they got it backwards and rolled Farrakhan in with the ‘right-wing extremists’. Oops. Why would they make a mistake like that? Probably because, in Media(D) reporting, only right-wingers are ever allowed to be bigots.
But let’s go back to the ‘safety’ issue.

The public condemnation and the muzzle are dropped on people like Paul Joseph Watson; people whose most dangerous weapon is ridicule.
It’s a dangerous weapon only to those who are trying to keep a tight grip on power.
Let’s look at some OTHER Groups that Facebook didn’t think dangerous enough to receive the ban that Paul Joseph Watson, Laura Loomer and others got hit with.
The DailyMail had a few examples of dangerous people that Facebook turned a blind eye to… people literally calling for or celebrating the deaths of others. Shouldn’t that rank almost as high as PJW saying ‘imagine my shock’ while sitting in front of a map?
But the company was today accused of hypocrisy when hordes of anti-Christian fanatics and anti-Semites are allowed to function freely on the site despite a raft complaints.
They say hate preachers like the Pakistani cleric Khadim Hussain Rizvi – spiritual leader of the extremist group Tehreek-e-Labbaik – spreads anti-Christian rhetoric to thousands of followers on the network.
Rizvi was behind massive demonstrations to demand the death penalty for Asia Bibi, a Christian mother-of-five accused of blasphemy by a Pakistani court and was sentenced to death by hanging in 2010, before being acquitted last year.
He also praised the murder of Muslim shopkeeper Asad Shah by Islamists in Glasgow in 2016.
Fiyaz Mughal, director of the anti-racism group Faith Matters, reported him to Facebook in November 2017 amid concerns that his hatred was influencing British Pakistani communities.
But no action was taken and the fanatic remains active on the social network today.

Actual, documented calls to violence… and yet, nothing.
Wael Aleji, an associate at the Wilberforce Alliance foundation, said that the platform has become ‘a sewer of poisonous anti-Christian hatred and anti-Semitism’.
‘Extremist groups like Hizb ut-Tahrir and the Muslim Brotherhood are very active on Facebook, both as organisations and as individual members,’ he said.
‘They have been reported so many times but Facebook does nothing. In fact, when a Muslim friend of mine wrote an article that was mildly critical of Islamic fundamentalism, Facebook removed it.
‘Sometimes I wonder whether the platform is really being run by Islamists.’
Mr Aleji demanded to know why Facebook purge hasn’t included Ayat Oraby, the Egyptian blogger linked to the Muslim Brotherhood living in the US.
‘Some of the things she writes on Facebook about Christians are truly poisonous, especially in Arabic,’ he said. ‘People have complained many times. Yet she is allowed to carry on freely.’

Yeah, there’s a reason we’re not buying the claims that these purges are for our safety… it’s because they’re full of crap.
Another good reason is that the Clinton Flunkies from Media Matter put their plan to squeeze conservatives out of the Digital Public Square in print… and the cooperation they’re getting from Silicon Valley in moving it forward is transparently obvious.
