Illegal Alien Walks Free After RAPING Fiancee’s Dog To DEATH — Thanks To ‘Sanctuary City’ Status

Hey Democrats, care to explain why you’re making it easy for sick freaks like this to roam free?

And where’s PETA on a story like this one? They should be all over it.

When Michael Vick had a dog fighting operation, people called his head on a pike. Even after he had served his time, columns were written about how he, and others who abuse animals in such a way should carry a permanent stain.

Look up any story about a dog left alone in the car on a hot summer’s day and you’ll find commenters using invective against the owner you’d normally expect to see reserved for someone who had abused a child.

So what makes this story different?

A twisted freak spent sixty days in jail for raping Estrella — his fiancee’s Lhapso Apso mix — to death. He was an illegal alien.

And then he was set free.

Federal immigration officials lashed out at authorities in Multnomah County, Oregon, and local sanctuary laws Thursday after a man residing in the U.S. illegally was set free upon serving 60 days for raping a dog to death.

Fidel Lopez, 52, was convicted on April 8 of sexually assaulting his fiancée’s Lhasa Apso mix so forcefully that it had to be euthanized. He received a 60-day sentence but was released immediately because he had already served that amount of time awaiting trial on the February offense.

But ICE says the county should have notified the agency at least 48 hours before Lopez was let go so they could apprehend him on immigration violations.

“On April 8, Lopez was convicted of sexual assault of an animal and aggravated animal abuse and sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for time served,” said Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spokeswoman Tanya J. Roman in a statement. “The Multnomah County Jail did not honor the immigration detainer and released him without notice to ICE.”

The officials in Oregon are actively opposing ICE.

Because he was allowed to walk, ICE had to give him a ‘notice to appear’, and couldn’t just detain him without (another) criminal charge.

While ICE expects to be notified of an impending release so as to “allow ICE to assume custody for removal purposes,” the county has said it can’t detain someone without an official criminal arrest warrant signed by a federal judge, The Oregonian reported.

ICE said that attitude, coupled with sanctuary laws, were allowing criminals to walk free when they were in this country illegally.

And this case shows JUST how far they are willing to go to prevent anyone from being deported. They would rather see this guy roaming free in Oregon — someone who has already demonstrate a willingness to use violence to act out his sexual urges — than let ICE have a ‘win’.

Hey Oregonians — are you getting a ‘Served’ And ‘Protected’ vibe from your law enforcement out there?

Are you cool with violent sexual offenders being set free with a wink and a nod to blend in among the crowd?

What if those unchecked violent sexual urges take him further next time? To a woman or a child?

Are the Democrats out there willing to wear that weight around their necks? Hug-a-thug cultures don’t come for free. A bill of SOME kind eventually comes due. It always does.

Nature is like that.

And so is human nature.

The whole POINT of the President’s call for ‘extreme vetting’ at the border is to keep scumbags like Fidel Lopez here from roaming free among unsuspecting citizens.
