Question: Where In America Should ICE Relocate Their Quarter-Million ‘Asylum Seekers’?

They’re coming soon to a Red State near you, but with so many ‘Sanctuary Cities’ out there, should ANY be going to Red States?

Federalism has consequences… doesn’t it?

The people who VOTE for the open borders policy-makers ought to bear the responsibility of caring for the people flooding in under their broken policies, right?

Otherwise, — if some guy in a DC cubicle is making such far-reaching decisions as how many foreign nationals will be resettled into this or that district, en masse — how are individual states actually directing their own destiny?

The short answer is: they’re not.

Suddenly, the autonomy of individual states that was so jealously guarded by the Framers can disappear like the morning dew… and hardly anyone says ‘boo’ about it.

The Trump administration is preparing to release hundreds of asylum-seeking migrants caught along the southern border into Florida’s Broward and Palm Beach counties, with no apparent plan to house, feed or care for them, according to local officials who have been briefed on the plans.

Broward County Mayor Mark Bogen said Thursday that Customs and Border Protection officials told him they would unload about 1,000 migrant families each month, evenly split between the two counties, for an unknown period of time.

Bogen called the plan “irresponsible” and warned that it would create a “homeless encampment” in his South Florida county.

Shouldn’t Red States like, say, Florida — who gave Trump a MANDATE to secure the border — be able to say ‘no mas’ to a special delivery of border jumpers?

The Trump administration is looking to hire a private contractor that will be responsible for transporting approximately 225,000 migrant children and families to shelters across the country over the next five years as they wait for their asylum claims to be processed.

ICE (the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency) is seeking the services of a “highly responsible” contractor that “fully embraces the philosophy” of treating all unaccompanied minors (UACs) and family units (FAMUs) with “dignity and respect,” according to a federal procurement document dated May 13.

…The document did not specify where exactly the migrants will be moved but said the Office of Refugee Resettlement has the “sole authority” to place unaccompanied minors and families.

The Left is not just forcing their concept of ‘justice’ on the rest of us (as they have explicitly said their plan has been all along: Leftists Want A ‘New Civil War’ – This Post Is Disturbing), but they are dumping problems they have created on the shoulders of those who have been Fighting to stop them.

Democrats have even been up-front about their cynical reasons for supporting it: their own electoral advantage.

A memo co-authored by former Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri, obtained by The Daily Caller, admits the Democratic Party needs to protect illegal immigrants brought here by DACA in order to ensure those additional votes.

The Center for American Progress (CAP) Action Fund memo, which circulated Monday, called on Democrats to “refuse to offer any votes for Republican spending bills that do not offer a fix for Dreamers and instead appropriate funds to deport them.”

The memo from the left-leaning think tank also said that protecting DACA is not only a “moral imperative” but also a “critical component” in winning elections.

“The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative, it is also a critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success,” the memo read.

It finished, “If Democrats don’t try to do everything in their power to defend Dreamers, that will jeopardize Democrats’ electoral chances in 2018 and beyond.”

If Blue States so desperately wanted to enable this problem, shouldn’t it be up to them to solve it?
