The “sweet migrants” coming across the border are getting pretty bold.
This crossing occurred in broad daylight at the border wall in El Paso, Texas, while an ABC-7 camera was rolling.
A group of 7 or so illegal aliens used a rope ladder to cross into the United States.
It happened at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday near the Border Highway and Fonseca.
The group was climbing the border barrier not too far away from where a group of Border Patrol agents rescued a man stuck in a canal grate.
ABC-7’s Jerry Najera reported seeing about seven migrants, including a woman, using the rope ladder to climb over the barrier into the U.S.

Once they had set foot on American soil, an undercover federal immigration agent pulled up in an unmarked car and turned on lights and sirens. The agent was seen calling border security before telling the illegal border crossers to stop. The intrepid border-scalers then climbed back over the fence to return to the area south of the barrier.
So, I guess that means that they weren’t asylum seekers, eh? If they were seeking asylum, why would they go back over the fence?
The rope ladder is just one of three flagrant border crossing attempts that occurred in a 24-hour period in the area. The other two incidents included the previously mentioned man stuck in a canal grate and a dozen or so illegal aliens exiting a manhole in the middle of a busy street in downtown El Paso.
Yikes!
Where are all the compassionate leftists concerned about the risk to the “poor, sweet migrants, who are just looking for a better life” as they pop up in the middle of the damned road?

“But it’s not a ‘crisis!'” claims the Media(D).
Despite the “non-crisis”, the Trump administration is requesting additional funds from Congress to pay for the influx of illegal border crossers entering this year.
Tuesday’s hearing comes as the number of migrant families arriving at the US-Mexico border has reached record highs and total monthly apprehensions are the highest they’ve been in over a decade. There were approximately 92,000 arrests of undocumented migrants for illegal entry on the southern border in March, up from 37,390 in March 2018.
Last month, McAleenan postponed a hearing with the House Appropriations Committee to visit the border in El Paso, Texas, amid the surge in migrant arrivals, which has overwhelmed US Border Patrol facilities and led to the direct release of families from custody.
“The only way to fundamentally address these flows is for Congress to act and to reinstate integrity into our immigration system. In the meantime, we need assistance and additional resources to manage the flow,” [acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin] McAleenan said during a news conference in El Paso.

It’s not just El Paso, either.
The mayor of Yuma, Arizona has declared a State of Emergency because the resources are taxed with the increased influx of illegal border crossers — especially of adults with children.

Robert Francis O’Rourke, the current 4th-runner for the Democratic nomination, has said that we should remove existing border walls.
This is likely why he’s now in the 4th spot, and former Vice President Joe Biden, with a more moderate approach, is leading the loony lefties.
Back in the day, Biden was all for enforcing immigration laws and yes, even a border wall. So were Hillary, Obama, Schumer, and Pelosi, for that matter.
A physical barrier isn’t the be-all, end-all when it comes to border security, but it sure is one helluva good start. It’s a physical deterrent and it frees up our Customs and Border Security agents to catch the bad guys doing the bad things instead of catching and releasing (possible) families and acting as the Über for illegal aliens.
