RIOTS IN MEMPHIS! Cops Shoot This 20yr. Old And All HELL Breaks Loose

Things went sideways when Marshalls were acting on an outstanding felony warrant, and Memphis erupted in violence as a result.

Brandon Webberm, 20 was wanted for multiple felony warrants, and when US Marshalls came to apprehend him, Webber lashed out at the officers.

While officers attempting to stop Webber, he reportedly rammed his vehicle into the officer’s cruisers multiple times before jumping out with a weapon. The officers opened fire, striking and killing the man.

After the shooting, Memphis police officers at the Old Allen Station received a call to assist the U.S. Marshals. MPD officers were not involved in Webber’s shooting.

Not long afterward, upon hearing about an officer-involved shooting, the event became an excuse to riot and attack a police force that wasn’t even involved in the actual shooting.

“In the violence that followed, at least two dozen law enforcement officers and at least two journalists were injured, Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland wrote on Facebook.” — FoxNews

Why were they so outraged? It may have had do with the narrative they told on social media about the guy they were coming to arrest.

The victim’s aunt, Yolanda Holmes, said police claimed he was shooting at an officer but the family was trying to confirm details.

Webber was a Frayser High School graduate and his social media accounts and tribute posts dedicated to him indicated he was a father of one. He was believed to have been enrolled at the University of Memphis.

What message does that send to the public? “He’s a good guy, a decent citizen and the police came along and murdered him.”

We’ve heard narratives like that before. “Hands up, don’t shoot.” “Gentle giant.” But if the reports of him repeatedly slamming his car into a squad car, and then exiting his car with a weapon in hand are accurate, that changes the story completely.

Details like that one are important, not like the public bothers to find out the facts before unleashing violence on their own community, against the very people who show up when somebody calls for help intervening in a domestic assault situation.

But why wait? Details like that could shift this story away from a discussion of possible misuse of police force, to an entirely different one about playing stupid games and winning stupid prizes.

Here are some of the local reporter’s updates as events unfolded:

Hey Jim @Acosta – this is what courageous and dangerous reporting REALLY looks like.

(FYI: He was later checked out at the hospital — and his injuries were minor.)

Hey kids — in case nobody told you, attacking cops is NEVER a great idea. Especially when they’re already coming to arrest you on a warrant for multiple felonies.

But of course, somebody will find some kind of a way to turn him into a ‘martyr’ for a cause.

Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.
