WATCH: Bold 13yo Girl Petitions City Council To Defend Unborn Babies

Kudos to that kid for her chutzpah. Shame on the ‘adults’ who heckled her so fiercely.
It is the right of every citizen to petition their government.
While many kids her age are busy with social media and sucked into a digital world, one young lady (thirteen years old) took that citizen’s right seriously.
She has strong feelings on the right of the unborn and wanted her voice heard. Rather than just virtue signal on social media, or ‘like and retweet’ somebody else’s work, she took proactive steps to make use of those rights.
Anti-abortion speakers and people in the crowd clashed during a tense Raleigh City Council meeting Tuesday night, making at least one child cry and one council member leave her seat
For at least the third time, speakers, including children, asked the council to make Raleigh a “sanctuary city for the unborn.”
Others in the crowd, including some who came to ask for additional police oversight, interrupted the anti-abortion speakers by asking them not to talk on behalf of black people and for women.
One of the first anti-abortion speakers was 13-year-old Addison Woosley who asked for city leaders to make abortion illegal in Raleigh.

She made an impassioned plea for the life of the unborn, citing science, logic and the heroic stands taken in our country’s previous great moral issues, including slavery.
The abortion activists in attendance, true to form, started yelling at the young girl.
“Y’all are so disrespectful,” a woman in the audience shouted at the anti-abortion speakers. “Let black people speak for black people when we are in the room. We can speak for ourselves.”
“You are a black man,” she said directing her comments to Mayor Pro Tem Corey Branch. “You need to stand up and recognize.”

Full credit to the Chair for what was said at the very end. (Once order was finally restored.)
At least HE understands the rights she was employing, even if her offended audience missed that particular civics lesson.
The world needs more girls with moxy like hers.
That’s why Doug Giles unleashed this book on the world:
ClashDaily.com’s, Editor-In-Chief, Doug Giles how-to book:
Raising Righteous & Rowdy Girls
In ‘Raising Righteous and Rowdy Girls’, Doug Giles reinforces the notion that little women don’t need to be pampered by their fathers to turn out right. And having met his beautiful daughters, I know his philosophy works. As a strong-willed woman who thinks her daddy is the greatest guy in the world, I can tell you this is a must-read for every man who hopes to earn the same title. —-S.E.
