Beautiful Model Gets Hammered With HATE Mail For Getting Pregnant

There was a time when children were celebrated as a Heaven-sent gift. What happened? How did we become so shallow?

Now people are MAD at a model because she decided to have a baby!

Whatever happened to somebody’s personal life being none of your business? Or did they REALLY just mean nobody ELSE’s business but theirs?

A famous swimsuit model is having a baby, and instead of sharing the kind of public joy and celebration that — say — the British Royals have showered upon them for bringing a new blue-blooded celebrity into the world for people to fawn over, Samantha Hoopes is met with contempt.

Go figure.

On April 9th, the 28-year-old Hoopes officially announced her pregnancy with her fiancé Salvatore Palella. The Instagram caption partly read:

We are so happy to finally announce baby Palella arriving in August! This journey so far has opened my eyes to how beautiful the woman’s body is! It’s truly incredible what nature can do and what love between two people can create.

Among the many congratulatory responses, the six-time Sports Illustrated model received a shocking amount of hate. According to Hoopes, long-time followers were sending her messages “where it sounds like I’m dying or something because I’m pregnant.” One message partly stated “you’re pregnant now and I just wanted to say goodbye.”

Does the person who wrote that even realize how petty and shallow that sounds? Likely not. That would require self-reflection.

Here’s the celebratory photo:

She takes what would normally be called ‘body-positivity’ or even ‘sex-positivity’ to the next logical step, celebrating her femininity and embracing an important facet of what it means to be a woman. A facet the Feminists seem to hold in utter contempt:

“Really, pregnancy is so beautiful. You’re creating a baby. You’re creating a life,” she said. “You’re creating the next generation. We have the capability to do that and I’m just in awe of it all. Yes, I’m getting cellulite that I didn’t have before, but this is a beautiful moment in my life. And my bump has become my biggest accessory. I love showing off my bump in tight clothes because it’s so cute.”

…”Never felt sexier than I do now. Creating a human has been one of the most beautiful experiences in my life,” she said. “From watching my stomach go from flat to round and cellulite that I never had before appear, I really could care less because I know that this is the process to becoming a mother!”

“Although I’m tired I feel strong and proud to be a woman and have a new respect for woman [sic] in general! We are warriors,” she continued. “Pregnancy only occurs in a woman’s life a few times God willing and it should be celebrated because we all wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for strong woman who went on this journey for you.”

But they assure us that the left DOESN’T hate babies.

No, not at all.

Oh, maybe a little.
