They’ve taken all the oxygen out of the 2020 Democrat primaries to shine the spotlight on themselves. But is it working?
The shameless drama queens make even little Jim Acosta look like an AMATEUR attention whore by comparison.
Voters — and even elected Democrats — are so busy talking about ICE, about ‘mean tweets’ and about impeaching Trump that they’ve all but forgotten there’s supposed to be a leadership race among the cellar-dwellers on the Left.
Oops.
But with all that attention, at least their message is getting out, right? Righteous Democrats standing against an evil Hollywood movie monster president who threatens to crush a nation under his tweets?
What are the polls saying after all this attention?
The Economist and YouGov survey of 1500 Americans found that 42% have a somewhat or very favorable view of ICE, which is a higher combined favorability rating than Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley.
Just 33% of Americans have a favorable rating of Ocasio-Cortez, and the numbers are even lower for her “squad” counterparts.
Omar has a 25% combined favorability rating, Tlaib has a 24% rating, and Pressley, who is also the least well-known, has a 22% rating.
These members of Congress have repeatedly called for abolishing ICE.

Sorry ladies. You may have a huge social media following, and plenty of ‘journalists’ fangirling over you, but that doesn’t mean you are either competent or inspiring.
