Guess How Many Private Jets A-Listers Took To A Climate Conference In Italy — 12? 56? 114?
The climate hypocrites also traveled to the lavish multi-day conference on “mega yachts” which are notoriously bad for the environment.
These are the people that are jetting around and yet are lecturing YOU on owning a car.
Google’s creators have set up the elitist “summer camp” at a posh seaside villa in Sicily. The Verdura Resort boasts 2 golf courses and rooms start at $903 per night. But Google isn’t going to have their guests slum it for their conference, they’re covering the tab for better rooms at a rate of $1,200 per night. Sources say that the 3-day event will cost the Big Tech company a whopping $20 million.
Attendees have to find their way there, however.
Of course, celebs can’t travel with the “little people” while they jet off to what they’ve dubbed Google Camp. Nah, they’ve got to travel in style.
The world’s rich and famous have flocked to a posh Italian resort to talk about saving Mother Earth — but they sure are punishing her in the process.
The billionaire creators of Google have invited a who’s who of A-list names— including former President Barack Obama, Prince Harry, Leonardo DiCaprio and Katy Perry — to the Sicilian seaside for a mega-party they’ve dubbed Google Camp.
The three-day event will focus on fighting climate change — though it’s unknown how much time the attendees will spend discussing their own effect on the environment, such as the scores of private jets they arrived in and the mega yachts many have been staying on.
A source told the New York Post, “everything is about global warming, that is the major topic this year.”
Our “betters” while being entertained by the likes of Sting, Elton John, and Chris Martin of Coldplay, will also discuss things like online privacy, human rights, politics, and the environment, of course. (Gee, I wonder which way their politics will tilt…)
“Google Camp is meant to be a place where influential people get together to discuss how to make the world better,” one regular attendee told The Post.
“There will likely be discussions about online privacy, politics, human rights, and of course, the environment, which makes it highly ironic that this event requires 114 private jets to happen.”
The elitists cannot do this via Skype because how could they possibly hobnob properly while being wined and dined in ancient temples by Big Tech?
They also seem oblivious to their own hypocrisy.
Google Camp is expecting 114 private jets to bring the A-list celebrity attendees to the resort.
The Post crunched the numbers and found that 114 first class seats from Los Angeles to Palermo, Italy, where Camp guests landed, would spew an estimated 784,000 kilograms of CO2 into the air.
To contrast, the average American has a carbon footprint of 16.4 metric tons of carbon per year. So, that’s the annual carbon footprint of nearly 50 people — 47 to be exact — and that’s just for travel one way. That doesn’t even include the “tooling around the island in high-speed sports vehicles” that is occurring as reported by Page Six, or Katy Perry zipping around in a Maserati SUV that boasts city mileage of 15 miles per gallon.
Some attendees have decided to stay on their luxury mega yachts. Apparently, large water-going vessels that push themselves through the water using ridiculously powerful diesel engines is totally fine to the über-rich who want to lecture the average Joe on their carbon footprint.
Stars there also include Harry Styles, Orlando Bloom, Diane von Furstenberg and Barry Diller, who arrived on their enormous $200 million yacht Eos, which has both sails and two 2,300-horsepower diesel engines.
Billionaire Dreamworks founder David Geffen, meanwhile, gave Perry and Bloom a ride on his $400 million yacht, Rising Sun.
Also on hand for the environmental gabfest was the megayacht Andromeda, a 351-foot behemoth owned by a New Zealand billionaire and which features its own helipad.

By the way, boats are the new green thing. The new darling of the Left, Swedish teenage, autistic, climate activist, Greta Thunberg, (who is likely nutter,) started a wave of schoolkids ditching class to protest government inaction on the threat of “global heating,” is going to be taking an entire year off of school to continue her advocacy. In addition, she’s going to sail across the Atlantic in a racing yacht to attend the UN Climate Summits. Of course, she’s going to sail the entire way.
Also expected to attend Google Camp are Stella McCartney, Bradley Cooper, newlyweds Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, plus Oprah’s buddy and chief anchor for CBS News, Gayle King. Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg was also invited.
But don’t be so judgy… many of these celebs have shown how serious they are about the environment.
Just look at Leonardo DiCaprio’s three cars — all of them are electric!
Katy Perry has filmed an advertisement for UNICEF warning about Climate change.
See? They’re super serious.
Sure, they’ve belched out a ridiculous amount of CO2 on a whim and lectured those that don’t buy into their climate hysteria as “deniers”, but it’s all about what’s best for the planet.
They’re coming up with “solutions” to solve the climate emergency.
Just don’t take away their private jets and mega yachts.
There’s a word for people like that…
We’ve all seen the dishonest games the left have played with the power they’re entrusted with, they’re obviously unworthy of that trust.
But what about 2020? Could a moral person pull a lever for Trump with their integrity intact? Would Jesus himself vote for Trump? We’re glad you asked. There’s a brand new book that covers precisely that question:
“Would Jesus Vote For Trump?” by Doug Giles and Brandon Vallorani.
Would Jesus ever choose someone, with a less than stellar past, to be a leader? Would Jesus be cool with how Trump blasts CNN, The Left, and his feckless ‘compadres’ on The Right? What about Health Care? Would the Great Physician give Trump’s opposition to ObamaCare the ‘two thumbs up?’ Find out in this BEST-SELLER!
