Rashida Tlaib LIED About Her Trip To Israel And Is Now Playing The VICTIM — Here’s The 411

This wasn’t about visiting family, it’s a disgusting political stunt.

The outspoken member of “The Squad” has decided to not visit her grandmother in the West Bank despite being permitted to do so.

Yesterday it was reported that the visit to Israel by two members of “The Squad” — Rep. Ilhan Omar(D-MN) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib(D-MI) was not permitted by the Israeli government due to a 2017 law that does not permit foreign Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) activists into the country.

However, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who is of Palestinian descent, has family living in the West Bank and was planning on staying briefly to visit them after the overtly political trip with Rep. Omar.

Rep. Tlaib was very sad on Twitter and used her grandmother to garner sympathy.

Then she got political. She insists that it’s those damned Israelis who are so intolerant!

Tlaib can dish it out but not take it, apparently. The BDS movement itself would target organizations and individuals that disagree with them that Israel is a “colonial apartheid state” that “discriminates against Palestinians.”

So, she wants to target “Zionists” but doesn’t like it when she is called out for her bigotry.

And bigotry is exactly what it is.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement about the decision. It was posted as a Twitter thread.

Here is a bit of that thread:

That Miftah organization is a real problem. The organization had published neo-Nazi propaganda and articles praising female suicide bombers and pushed the medieval-era anti-Semitic bigotry of “blood libel” — the idea that Jews use the blood of Christians in their Passover ritual.

Miftah also suggests that Israel — the historic homeland of Jews for thousands of years — isn’t an appropriate place for a Jewish state.

This group was co-sponsoring the visit by Reps. Omar and Tlaib.

“Show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are…”

Despite Tlaib’s overt support for Palestine, her advocacy for the BDS movement, not joining other bipartisan members of Congress on their recent trip to Israel, not wanting to meet with any Israeli government officials, and her connections to vocal anti-Semites, the Prime Minister said that a humanitarian trip to visit her grandmother in the West Bank would still be considered. She just had to agree to a few conditions.

Tlaib did just that in a letter to the Israeli Minister of the Interior, Aryeh Deri.

But now she’s crying foul.

The Israeli Minister of the Interior wasn’t having it. In a scathing pair of tweets, he lambasted Tlaib in a manner reminiscent of a quote attributed to Israel’s Iron Lady, Golda Meir.

Minister Deri wrote:

I approved her request as a gesture of goodwill on a humanitarian basis, but it was just a provocative request, aimed at bashing the State of Israel. Apparently her hate for Israel overcomes her love for her grandmother.

The unverified quote by Golda Meir is similar, “Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.”

Reactions on Twitter were… insightful.

The U.S. Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman issued a statement saying, “This trip, pure and simple, is nothing more than to fuel the BDS engine that Congresswomen Tlaib and Omar so vigorously support.”

In June, Tlaib had made an appeal for a PLO leader, Dr. Hanan Ashrawi, to be permitted in the United States. When news of President Trump was saying that Congresswomen Omar and Tlaib shouldn’t go to Israel, Dr. Ashrawi tweeted that the weren’t going to Israel, but to “Palestine.”

The best were these Tweets:

Rep. Rashida Tlaib chose to boycott her own grandmother instead of agreeing to not be anti-Semitic on a trip to Israel. That’s really all you need to know, isn’t it?
