True Humility: How To Get It And Keep It

Written by Doug Giles on August 1, 2019

Is Humility still relevant in our modern world? Do you need it? Where do you go to get some? It’s all covered here in this week’s Warriors & Wildmen.

Pride.

It’s all around us. It MUST be a virtue, right? If you believe SOCIETY, you might buy the crud they’re slinging. But Yahweh has us singing from a different songbook.

Not only does ‘Pride’ fail to rank among the virtues, its counted in the top-tier among the sins.

(Yes, higher that what you used to do on a Friday night. Yes, even higher than that thing you used to like doing when you were getting freaky between the sheets.)

Pride is kind of a big deal. It needs to be put down like a rabid dog and replaced with humility.

No, not the simpering, servile, everyone’s-better-than-me, I’m-a-human-doormat thinking, either. That’s not the real deal.

Humility. The stuff that keeps you from losing your S–T in the storms of life, that keeps you looking heavenward when the waves threaten to capsize your little boat in the water.

It’s the thing that fuels a source of joy that makes your friends and relatives who REALLY know the sludge you’re slogging through scratching their heads and saying ‘what’s up with that’?

Grab something to take notes, because you’re gonna want to to put these tips to work in your own life. Believe you me, far better to humble yourself and let God lift you up than to swap who’s doing what in that arrangement.

We’ve all seen the dishonest games the left have played with the power they’re entrusted with, they’re obviously unworthy of that trust.

But what about 2020? Could a moral person pull a lever for Trump with their integrity intact? Would Jesus himself vote for Trump? We’re glad you asked. There’s a brand new book that covers precisely that question:

“Would Jesus Vote For Trump?” by Doug Giles and Brandon Vallorani.

Would Jesus ever choose someone, with a less than stellar past, to be a leader? Would Jesus be cool with how Trump blasts CNN, The Left, and his feckless ‘compadres’ on The Right? What about Health Care? Would the Great Physician give Trump’s opposition to ObamaCare the ‘two thumbs up?’ Find out in this BEST-SELLER!
