TRUMP ECONOMY: Latest Numbers Great News For Minorities, Bad News For Activists

Trump loves to over-use his superlatives, but these numbers literally ARE the ‘Best Ever’. They’re YUGE! They set a few records.

Anyone who’s been paying attention will know that Trump takes particular interest in how well the economy is doing. One of the central promises in MAGA was to get the government the hell out of the way so that the great engine of American Entrepreneurship could roar into life and energize the whole nation in the process.

As that happened, it would generate desperately-needed jobs, especially in hard-hit parts of the country, including both rural areas and the Inner Cities.

It’s working. Employment numbers are getting better across the board.

The total number of employed people in the US? We have a new record: 157,878,000.

What about the unemployment numbers?

The unemployment rate held steady at 3.7 percent. For blacks, the unemployment rate dropped to a record low of 5.5 percent last month. And for Hispanics, the unemployment rate was 4.2 percent in August, which ties the record low set earlier this year.

Sounds low, right? What do those numbers mean in real terms? For example, what does ‘full employment look like’?

By that measure, Hispanic workers have achieved full employment, and Black workers are getting close to that number.

Among Trump’s reforms was the creation of Opportunity Zones.

The U.S. Treasury recently released guidance about opportunity zones established under last year’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. An opportunity zone is an economically distressed community where new investments may be eligible for preferential tax treatment, according to the Internal Revenue Service. They were created to attract investment capital into areas that need it most. In return, investors are incentivized with tax benefits, varying based on the amount of time the capital remains invested in a qualified opportunity zone.

Developers are taking advantage of the opportunity zones to build hotels in areas where it might not have been feasible before.

What happened when Trump got the government out of the way, cutting taxes and red tape? Not only are we seeing employment rising and paychecks growing… we’re seeing a really wonderful statistic that — if a Democrat could have taken credit for it — would be shouted from the rooftops.

It’s resolving the employment disparity between white and black workers.

The unemployment rate for African-Americans fell to the lowest level ever recorded in August, dropping from 6 percent to 5.5 percent.
One result: the persistent gap between white and black unemployment also narrowed to its smallest on record.

The unemployment ratio has averaged around 2 to 1 or so for decades, meaning the black unemployment rate is typically twice the white unemployment rate. In good times, the unemployment rate of whites and blacks falls but the gap remains. And in bad times, the unemployment rate for whites and black rises, but black unemployment typically remains around twice that of white employment.

A year ago, the black unemployment rate stood at 6.6 percent while the white unemployment rate was 3.4 percent, meaning black unemployment was 185 percent of white unemployment.

In August, the gap narrowed so that black unemployment was under 162 percent of white unemployment. That is the smallest gap ever in records going back to January 1972.

Trump is still seeing jobs growth, even in a ‘near-total-employment’ environment… not a small accomplishment.

Wealthy Democrats are openly HOPING for a recession so that Trump can be removed from office.

What they don’t acknowledge is that while THEY might be safely insulated from the worst effects of a recession, the ‘little people’ they claim to champion would definitely NOT.

We’ve all seen the dishonest games the left have played with the power they’re entrusted with, they’re obviously unworthy of that trust.

But what about 2020? Could a moral person pull a lever for Trump with their integrity intact? Would Jesus himself vote for Trump? We’re glad you asked. There’s a brand new book that covers precisely that question:

“Would Jesus Vote For Trump?” by Doug Giles and Brandon Vallorani.

Would Jesus ever choose someone, with a less than stellar past, to be a leader? Would Jesus be cool with how Trump blasts CNN, The Left, and his feckless ‘compadres’ on The Right? What about Health Care? Would the Great Physician give Trump’s opposition to ObamaCare the ‘two thumbs up?’ Find out in this BEST-SELLER!
