WATCH: Christine Blasey Ford’s Lawyer Says That A Motivator Was ‘To Put An Asterisk’ Next To Justice Kavanaugh’s Name

In case you wonder who the totalitarians are, this was never anything more than a piece of political sabotage deliberately designed to kneecap a good and decent judge.

What further need have we of witnesses? Her own lawyer just gave away the game!

Most of us watching the Christine Blasey Ford drama called it out as sketchy right from day one. (Well, except the Democrats who thought they would politically benefit from spiking his appointment.) It didn’t pass the ‘sniff’ test. Ever.

And we all said so. But Democrats demanded that the drama be played out on the national stage. Alyssa Milano was invited in as a political prop to make sure people were watching. Mobs of protesters flooded the halls, caught them in elevators and bullied Senators into complying with their demands. Linda Sarsour was part of the parade of ‘please arrest me for the spectacle’ protests that were organized to disrupt the hearings.

But Blasey Ford was the lynchpin of the whole debacle. It was HER insistence that Kavanaugh did-a-bad-thing in his teen years (date, place, location and even YEAR were (conveniently) sketchy enough that he could not POSSIBLY put forward an alibi), and it took passionate speeches from Mitch McConnell, Susan Collins and Kavanaugh himself to keep the Democrats from scrubbing his nomination.

The fact that major details of her testimony were contradicted or demonstrably untrue didn’t help her credibility any.

Now we’re hearing, as Paul Harvey would call it, the rest of the story.

Exclusive video footage of Christine Blasey Ford’s lawyer obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation shows her saying that putting “an asterisk next to” Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s name before “he takes a scalpel” to Roe v. Wade was “part of what motivated” Ford to speak out.

…“In the aftermath of these hearings, I believe that Christine’s testimony brought about more good than the harm misogynist Republicans caused by allowing Kavanaugh on the court,” Katz says in the video.

“He will always have an asterisk next to his name,” Katz continues. “When he takes a scalpel to Roe v. Wade, we will know who he is, we know his character, and we know what motivates him, and that is important; it is important that we know, and that is part of what motivated Christine.”

…Before the confirmation, Ford had maintained that she came forward out of a sense of civic duty to provide information that she thought senators needed to know before voting on Kavanaugh,” Lovelace wrote in “Search and Destroy.”

Lovelace believes that this calls into question everything that Ford and Katz have previously said — and that if this information was known during the September hearings, there might have been different questions and different results.

Since the totalitarian Left is willing to dishonestly weaponize our institutions in a naked effort to gain or keep political power, this should put any and all future allegations against figures on the Right under serious scrutiny.

If they have used dishonest smears to energize the politics of personal destruction in service of their thirst for power before… that goes a long way into telling us what they are and who exactly we are dealing with.

Those willing to RIG the political process to sabotage a legitimate nominee or political candidate have shown themselves entirely unworthy of the political power and trust they are illicitly seeking.

Destroying someone you cannot beat in a fair fight is the sort of crap you might see in some Banana Republic under a Dictator wearing a chest full of medals and an oversized hat.

Doing so is entirely beneath the dignity of any truly freedom-loving American.

It strikes at the very heart of our institutions. And anyone willing to do that cannot truly call themselves a public servant.
