DEAR DEMOCRATS: Americans Say Impeachment Is DISTRACTING Congress From Dealing With Important Issues
By the look of this poll, Hillary’s ‘do your job’ tweet should have been directed at Congress, not the President.
Since the moment Trump was elected, the Left has been more interested in looking for ways to oppose him on every front than they have on the very simple task of doing the job they allegedly ran for office to do in the first place.
They’ve literally tried every trick in the book.
Eric Holder was hired by California in anticipation of Trump’s presidency.
They’ve slow-walked appointments — even challenging certain appointments on the unconstitutional basis of their holding objectionable (read: Christian) religious beliefs.
They turned the hearing of Judge Kavanaugh into a circus that tried to destroy an innocent man on a personal level in the interest of party politics. The slander leveled in that process persists a year later.
They have openly encouraged the public harassment of Republicans.
We saw endless leaks, and we saw spying on the Trump team itself.
The Steele Dossier / Russia Collusion hoax.
They’ve routinely called him an illegitimate President.
Now that they hold the gavel in Congress, they are busily weaponizing all the tools of government at their disposal in a crusade against the man personally.
Any evidence disproving their theories is conveniently ignored (or sometimes even silenced).
In a poll run by WaPo, whose answers seem, for the most part, skewed to favor the Democrat positions, there is one answer that stands out as interesting.
For those who like to examine context, here’s the breakdown of political leanings of those they sampled:
Despite robust support in that poll for assuming the worst of Trump and his motives one question about the Congress STILL stands as an outlier to the general tone of the poll.
A slight edge (and remember only 25% of respondents are actually Republican) think that House Democrats are distracting Congress from more important issues.
How much do you want to bet that a lot more than 50% of the population as a whole shares that same opinion?
