DRAMA QUEEN: AOC’s Weepy Copenhagen Speech Makes The ‘How Dare You’ One Seem Measured

If they gave out melodrama awards for political overactors, Alexandria Occasio Cortez would walk away a winner.

Of course, such awards are just as bogus as the causes she publicly champions. But that doesn’t stop her from seeking the international spotlight anyway.

AOC thought it was important to hop a plane and get herself some international attention as the face of a cause.

(This, of course, is exactly the sort of showboating that is making other Democrats think that ‘the squad’ are ‘absentee landlords’ more interested in the drama than any issues important to their actual constituents.)

So, Miss ‘let’s all ban air travel’ hopped on a plane to go to Copenhagen for an environmental summit.

Once there, she addressed the crowd, telling them she spoke ‘not as a public figure’…

Oh really? She was there to pitch her ‘Green New Deal’ which even the co-founder of Green Peace ripped to shreds.

In that spirit, I will not waste much time and I want to speak with candor, frank honesty, truth and frankly scientific consensus. It’s no secret that we are meeting here today at a very perilous juncture across roads one of extinction or opportunity and every decision we make between now and in our children’s lifetimes will determine how human life will fare. Whether we suffer greatly or build together it is our choice. To the chagrin of many politicians and voters I am sad to report that there is no middle road on the climate crisis.

She speaks with horror about USA leaving the Paris accords (a treaty that was never actually ratified) without mentioning that USA has done FAR more to curb carbon output than other nations that ARE still members of the treaty.

She points a finger at the other nations but has nothing good to say about things her own country does well. But then, what else is new?

At about the 7:10 mark, she says,

“I speak to you not as an elected official or public figure but I speak to you as a human being, a woman whose dreams of motherhood now taste bittersweet because of what I know about our children’s future and that our actions responsible for bringing their most dire possibilities into focus.

At the 8 minute mark, she was throwing around words like ‘Colonialism’ and ‘Imperialism’ while falsely claiming that a storm whose aftermath (not the actual storm, mind you) killed her grandfather was somehow the result of climate change. (We notice no mention was made of the role government ineptitude or obvious corruption played in the aftermath.)

Sure.

You’re NOT speaking ‘as a public figure’.

Yeah, THAT’s why you were invited halfway around the world to speak to a climate conference.

Because there were no mere human women available with opinions about the climate in Europe.

Have you seen this clip, AOC? Have a look.

It reminds us of you.

We’ve all seen the dishonest games the left have played with the power they’re entrusted with, they’re obviously unworthy of that trust.

But what about 2020? Could a moral person pull a lever for Trump with their integrity intact? Would Jesus himself vote for Trump? We’re glad you asked. There’s a brand new book that covers precisely that question:

“Would Jesus Vote For Trump?” by Doug Giles and Brandon Vallorani.

Would Jesus ever choose someone, with a less than stellar past, to be a leader? Would Jesus be cool with how Trump blasts CNN, The Left, and his feckless ‘compadres’ on The Right? What about Health Care? Would the Great Physician give Trump’s opposition to ObamaCare the ‘two thumbs up?’ Find out in this BEST-SELLER!
