AG Barr On IG Report In NBC Interview Skewers The Media Talking Points

Written by Wes Walker on December 11, 2019

Maybe Comey could put that champagne on ice and skip that victory lap of his until AFTER we hear the other shoe drop with the Durham report. You know, the one that became a Criminal investigation?

Not only did Barr indicate that the Horowitz report is incomplete because it was limited in scope, but he pointed out some uncomfortable facts that the media has been working very hard to suppress.

Remember how Trump was savaged for saying — back in 2017 — that Trump had been ‘wiretapped’ and how Levin was savaged for demonstrating that, yes the President HAD been under surveillance using nothing more than the mainstream press’s own reporting to do it?

And now, it’s uncontroversial to say that’s exactly what happened. The only question is ‘why’.

The answer to that question is looking less and less satisfactory, the more we hear about it.

Here is Bill Barr in his own words.

From the very first day of the investigation, they planned to wire up people in the campaign.

Evidence that would be exculpatory was suppressed. And the suggestion that an investigation occurred ‘after’ his time with the campaign is irrelevant because they would look at his past contacts, and also their contacts.

It’s not accidental or coincidence that this was information the FISA gave them access to

Why is he taking such an interest in it? For the very best of reasons:

“The Attorney General’s primary responsibility is to protect against the abuse of law enforcement and intelligence apparatus, and to make sure it doesn’t play an improper role in our political life.

Maybe if Loretta Lynch had shared this view, we wouldn’t have found ourselves in this mess in the first place.

Then again, we don’t yet know for sure what role SHE may have played in this whole mess, do we?
