Hours After Professor Destroys Entire Premise Of Impeachment Circus… Cancel Culture Comes For His Head
For all their talk about ‘witness intimidation,’ it isn’t the Right that seeks to personally destroy anyone who gets in the way of their political ambitions.
The Left wants Trump’s head on a platter. It’s as simple as that. Anything they can do to make that happen — fair or foul — they will not hesitate to try.
But God Help anyone who stands between them and these ambitions.
In these divided times, no matter how calm you are, no matter how rational the case you make might be, having the wrong opinion is a crime requiring punishment.
Let’s back up to describe what has upset the cancel culture this time.
While the Left’s 3 main witnesses breathlessly recited all the ways and reasons they believed that Trump was the devil personified and should be run out of DC on a rail, the remaining witness had a very different position.
He doesn’t believe the Left has even presented a coherent case explaining what the supposed infraction requiring his impeachment was, let alone whether his behavior required impeachment as a remedy.
Here are a few examples of the kind of testimony that shot the Democrats impeachment arguments down in flames.
"If you accept all of their presumptions, it would be obstruction. But impeachments have to be based on proof, not presumptions.” -Professor Jonathan Turley #ImpeachingHearings #ImpeachmentHearing pic.twitter.com/6X216XXz7w

Jonathan Turley, not a Trump supporter, looks at Democrats and delivers one of the most powerful quotes of the hearing so far:
"If you make a high crime and misdemeanor out of going to the courts, it is an abuse of power. It's YOUR abuse of power." pic.twitter.com/H37euhMP3X

🚨 Mic drop from @RepRatcliffe & Jonathan Turley 🚨
➡️ RATCLIFFE: So if I were to summarize your testimony – no bribery, no extortion, no obstruction of justice, no abuse of power. Is that fair?
➡️ TURLEY: Not on this record.
Case closed. Time to shut down this partisan sham. pic.twitter.com/GAFNQEpGdQ

‘Does that track with the rule of law?’: Prof. Jonathan Turley challenges how quickly the #impeachmentinquiry has been carried out and tells lawmakers there is not enough evidence to prove a quid pro quo took place. Read more: https://t.co/se7am3C2eM pic.twitter.com/B4XkJwQVLL

And he dropped a landmine into their playing field.
Rep. Collins: "Is there a concern that if we say the facts don't matter, that we're also…abusing our power?"
Turley: "I think so. And part of the problem is that to bring a couple of these articles, you have to contradict the position of Pres. Obama." https://t.co/kVlLtErKX9 pic.twitter.com/LLXXzfshaD

Jennie Taer, a reporter working with Sara A Carter is already reporting on the blowback Professor Turley has received from the cancel culture crowd:
The email opened, “I hope this message finds you all well, ladies and gentleman. Aside from Mr. Turley, of course.”
“I am writing you all after listening to Jonathan Turley’s disgraceful statement defending the corrupt and impeachable actions of President Trump at the House Judiciary impeachment hearing today. I know you all cringe inside knowing that you are affiliated in some way with Turley and have to work or study at the same institution in which he is employed,” the email read.
Turley was the Republican witness at Wednesday’s hearing. He made clear in his testimony, however, that he never was a Trump supporter.”By no means should he be considered a Republican. If anything, his legal and political philosophies entertain the more Liberal stance,” a former student of Turley’s told this reporter.
“He is defending the indefensible and I hope that all of the Deans at GWU Law and the students will recognize that he is not serving in the best interest of our country and is a detriment to the success of your school’s future reputation. His actions today were spineless and shameful. He is clearly a lackey for the Trump Administration,” the email says.
The email’s writer concludes, “I trust you will act appropriately and reprimand this sad excuse of a man.”

Has it really come to this?
Answering questions under oath, after being subpoenaed to speak, but giving answers that piss off political hacks is an invitation to have some jackwagon threaten your livelihood now?
Again, we note it is the testimony friendly to Trump’s position that is a lightning rod for the politics of hate and personal destruction, despite everything the Media(D) would report about the RIGHT being the party of hate.
