Schiff’s New ‘Impeach Pence’ Narrative Shows How Duplicitous Dems Really Are

The impeachment of Trump was so ‘very somber’ that Schiff is already looking for another scalp to ‘nail to the wall’. Here’s why he’s an Anti-American joke.

If using the tools of government to illicitly destroy a political rival is criminal, maybe we need to open an investigation into Schiff’s release of Nunes’s and a journalists’s phone records as well as connections between his staff, a whistleblower and a trip his staffers took to Ukraine that sponsored by Burisima-connected individuals and involved future witnesses against Trump just two short days after the whistleblower complaint had first been made public.

There’s more than just a smoking gun there, wouldn’t you say? According to the standards Trump has been held to, there is for sure.

Now prove your innocence!

Now he’s turning his tools of government smearing against the VICE President.

Because this isn’t about justice or truth for Schiff. It never was. It is about destroying his political rival in the lead-up to an election. And he’s at it again:

Vice President Pence has refused to declassify testimony that is “directly relevant” to the impeachment debate, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.) wrote Tuesday in a letter that raised further questions about what Pence said in a September phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

In a letter to Pence, Schiff wrote that classified witness testimony gathered during the impeachment inquiry “raises profound questions about your knowledge of the President’s scheme to solicit Ukraine’s interference in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.”

…The testimony from Jennifer Williams, Pence’s Russia adviser, was provided as a supplemental written submission to the Intelligence Committee through her lawyer Nov. 26. Ten days later, Schiff asked Pence to declassify it. But what she said about Pence’s Sept. 18 call with Zelensky has remained out of public view.

Of course, this is an interesting argument for Schiff to make, having HIMSELF refused to release any Trump-friendly EXCULPATORY testimony famously taken behind closed doors in the House under Schiff’s own chairmanship — and contrary to explicit house rules.

If he thinks he has a right to that testimony, he can ask the court to compel it, just like when Trump thought he had a right to exert HIS Article II powers, he asked the courts to uphold those privileges. When branches come into conflict, that is how the differences are to be resolved.

That is, of course, unless you are a jackboot thug with no interest at all about due process, the Constitution or the rule of law.

If Schiff is stupid enough to weaponize his powers against a sitting VICE President for no reason better than petty spite, perhaps we need to make a criminal referral asking for an investigation into any role between Schiff, his staff, any foreign interests and this process.

This story seems kinda relevant. But Dems carefully avoided discussing it during hearings ‘for some reason’: Ukraine Advisor Disputes Key Point In Impeachment Testimony — Is This Bad News For Democrats?
