Ilhan Omar, Champion of BDS, Decries ‘Crippling’ Sanctions Against Terror State

Hey Ilhan, let’s discuss the REAL reason talk about Iran makes you uneasy, shall we?

Ilhan Omar is getting jumpy with Trump pushing back against Iran.

She says it’s about ‘potential war’, but considering Trump isn’t actually pushing America into a war footing, and actually responding to an attack against our Embassy, that’s a strange position for her to take.

She plays her victim card face-up on the table and starts talking.

When she first stepped up to the mic, she said that talking about a potential war with Iran she suffers from PTSD.

“I feel ill a little bit.”

She is so glad that she works for advocates of peace and against war. (Yes, this is the same woman who giggled at the names Hezbollah and Al Quaeda. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.)

The avid supporter of the anti-Israel BDS movement then explains that she opposes “crippling” sanctions against Iran.

Trump, you see, has been ‘goading’ Iran into war. First by scrapping the Iran deal, and second by introducing sanctions that she claims are making poor, innocent Iranians ‘starve’.

Yes, clearly, all this talk of war has her thoroughly distraught.

For example, when Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee was talking about American casualties, Omar was chatting and laughing with her colleagues.

Isn’t it just amazing how frequently her unexplained cases of the giggles just happen to correspond with accounts of American casualties?

What is the ACTUAL consequence of Iran having their funding choked off? For one thing, there’s less money for them to sink into Nuclear research, which she just said would be a GOOD thing.

Last MAY we published a piece talking about the GOOD these sanctions were doing. (Read the rest here) in which we reported:

The powerful Lebanese Hezbollah militia has thrived for decades on generous cash handouts from Iran, spending lavishly on benefits for its fighters, funding social services for its constituents and accumulating a formidable arsenal that has helped make the group a significant regional force, with troops in Syria and Iraq.

But since President Trump introduced sweeping new restrictions on trade with Iran last year, raising tensions with Tehran that reached a crescendo in recent days, Iran’s ability to finance allies such as Hezbollah has been curtailed. Hezbollah, the best funded and most senior of Tehran’s proxies, has seen a sharp fall in its revenue and is being forced to make draconian cuts to its spending, according to Hezbollah officials, members and supporters.

Fighters are being furloughed or assigned to the reserves, where they receive lower salaries or no pay at all, said a Hezbollah employee with one of the group’s administrative units. Many of them are being withdrawn from Syria, where the militia has played an instrumental role in fighting on behalf of President Bashar al-Assad and ensuring his survival.

Hezbollah. The group that gives her the giggles.

The one that launches rockets into Israel by the hundreds while the Squad and others like them wring their hands about regional poverty.

How much do you suppose those rockets are worth, anyway?

As for poor Ilhan’s ‘PTSD’… what about the children in towns like Sderot in which ‘40% of Israeli children suffer from PTSD because of those endless Iran-backed rocket attacks?

Anything to say there? Anything at all?

Trump laid his cards on the table and the math is far simpler to follow than Ilhan’s own marriage and financial history. If Iran renounces their terror proxies and their role in provoking regional civil wars, they can rejoin the world as a respected nation.

Until then, they will be treated as the terror state they have decided to be.

That is a choice IRAN is making for themselves.

And for the record, if Ilhan really cared about the poor and starving people of Iran, she had a chance to speak up when Iran’s regime was arresting and killing protesters.

Where was her pearl-clutching then?

Oh, that’s right. Nothing they were doing could be used as a club against America or Israel — so she took no notice.

Just like she said nothing about the despot in Venezuela.

Oh, one more thing.

With all the excitement about an exploded terrorist and a new year, we almost missed congratulating her for an award.

Congrats on being voted ‘Antisemite of 2019’, Ilhan. The competition must have been tough — even within The Squad — but you persevered and won.

It makes sense. Even Pelosi is on record last year as calling BDS a ‘racist’ policy. And Ilhan champions that very policy.

When her possible immigration fraud involving alleged marriage to her own brother doesn’t make the top five list of ‘related stories’ that ought to disqualify her from elected office, you know she’s a real piece of work.

Did we ever find out whether the (documented) allegations that she’s an asset of Iran and Qatar check out? It really shouldn’t be too difficult to verify, right?
