One common symptom of Trump Derangement Syndrome™ is the complete amnesia of anything that occurred before approximately 2:30 am on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
That was when the TDS contagion spread all over the country almost instantaneously. It was incredible. One moment there were Democrats and Republicans exercising their civic duty and voting for their President, and the next there were celebratory (and, admittedly, some surprised) Republicans alongside a mass of stunned, crying, hysterical, bitter losers who could not accept the results of an election. And thus has it been ever since. A miasma of sore-loserism looms over leftists to this day and erupts into full-blown TDS when they stand in front of a news camera.
Witness, if you will, Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna(D-CA)’s outrage over President Trump’s foreign policy moves dealing with Iranian aggression and how it exhibits the amnesia of those suffering from TDS.
Rep. Khanna appeared on America’s Newsroom on Fox News. Sandra Smith asked him, “Do you think there were any missed opportunities in the past that would have prevented Iran from getting to the point that it did?”
KHANNA: I do not because this was not just Barack Obama, but the reporting that I’ve seen says that President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney also passed on the chance to take out Soleimani, and the reason that they all passed is because they did not want to escalate a war with Iran. And I believe that President Obama had a strategy of the JCPOA that would prevent Iran from becoming nuclear and there weren’t these incidents during the Obama administration. We didn’t have protests against our embassies, we didn’t have the killing of American contractors, so Americans were safe at that time.
Everyone calling the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad “Trump’s Benghazi” was apparently not enough to jog Rep. Khanna’s memory of the 2012 Benghazi attack in Libya that killed 4 Americans including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens.
I guess “safe” means something different to Rep. Khanna than it does to Republicans.
But, really, folks. It’s gotta be rough suffering from such a severe case of TDS.
Can you imagine how much Rep. Khanna is suffering? His memory has more holes in it than swiss cheese. He can’t even remember that Obama made an absolute mess of Middle East policy that led to the death of four Americans in Libya because the administration failed to act despite repeated pleas for assistance. Rep. Khanna must not have watched 13 Hours.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Congressman Khanna and his family at this difficult time.
