#WINNING: Trump Will Be The First President To Attend The March For Life

Does this mean that the principled Evangelical Never-Trump peeps will cast their ballot for Trump in November?

He’s been the most pro-life President in American history. He has slowly made it clear that he supports the March For Life. In 2017, shortly after his inauguration, Vice President Mike Pence and Presidential Advisor Kellyanne Conway attended the March. At the time, V.P. Pence was the highest-ranking public official to address the March. In 2018 President Trump addressed the Marchers via video, committing to veto any bill that would weaken the protection of human life. In 2019 Vice President Pence and his wife, Karen, attended the March along with a video address by the President. The administration touted its positive steps to protect life by ending the Mexico City policy which would allow taxpayer money to fund abortions in foreign countries and nominating conservative judges to federal benches.

In addition, President Trump has followed the lead of other Republican Presidents beginning with Ronald Reagan declaring the anniversary of Roe v Wade, January 22, National Sanctity of Human Life Day.

Every year the Trump administration has reaffirmed its commitment to the pro-life cause.

Three years have led up to this moment — the sitting President will attend the March For Life and address the crowd.

The President of March For Life, Jeanne Mancini, made the announcement:

We are deeply honored to welcome President Trump to the 47th annual March for Life. He will be the first president in history to attend and we are so excited for him to experience in person how passionate our marchers are about life and protecting the unborn. From the appointment of pro-life judges and federal workers, to cutting taxpayer funding for abortions here and abroad, to calling for an end to late-term abortions, President Trump and his Administration have been consistent champions for life and their support for the March for Life has been unwavering. We are grateful for all these pro-life accomplishments and look forward to gaining more victories for life in the future.

This is YUGE. In 46 years, no other President has attended the March For Life.

President Trump tweeted about it himself:

Prepare yourself for the inevitable leftist outrage, because you know it’s coming.

Many pro-life activists consider President Trump the most pro-life President in history. He has clearly given the pro-life cause a great deal of attention in both his domestic and foreign policies.

As president, Trump has reinstated and expanded the ban on foreign aid to abortion-involved groups (including International Planned Parenthood Federation), banned groups that commit or refer abortions from Title X family planning funds, overturned Obama-era regulations that barred states from defunding Planned Parenthood, and issued rules protecting Americans from being forced to subsidize abortion in government-mandated health insurance plans.

The president has also forcefully denounced abortion, calling attention to Democrats’ opposition to anti-infanticide legislation and calling on Congress to send him a ban on late-term abortion to sign. Most of his judicial nominees have pleased pro-lifers, as well.

In addition, the administration has consistently worked to defend life and oppose abortion at the United Nations, from resisting pro-abortion agenda items and resolution language to affirming that abortion isn’t a human right and promoting abstinence education.

President Trump has been the unlikely champion of the pro-life movement, and it’s incredible.

Way to go, Mr. President!
