They took that fantastic spoken piece by Johnny Cash and set it to a backdrop of video that would stir the soul of all but the most rigidly America-hating cynics.
It told the story of America, as a nation. Our shared history.
It was a UNIFYING story to which every single American can lay claim.
You will notice, no mention is made of color or creed. Just the troubles and trials that ‘Ragged Old Flag’ has stood as witness to over the years.

Of note: the ad featured families of 9/11 victims and Marine Corps Corporal Kyle Carpenter, the youngest living Medal of Honor recipient as the ‘ragged old flag’ walked through wars and tragedies.
This is the America that the Left routinely demonizes and denounces.
The one that Bernie Bros, Antifa and ‘the Squad’ want to ‘fundamentally change’.
The America that shines like a beacon of hope drawing hopeful souls from around the world with the very same offer of the American dream to anyone who will lawfully enter and join in our Grand Experiment.
