Deep State Joe Deeply Flawed

The Democrat primary got really interesting after the South Carolina primary last weekend. “Sleepy Joe” Biden won big, due in large part to the endorsement by Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC). Biden captured 61% of the black vote in South Carolina, besting Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) by just over 28% overall. The Democrat establishment hailed this as a monumental victory for Biden and then things got interesting.

First, Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D-IN), who’d done fairly well up to South Carolina, bowed out of the race just a couple of days ahead of Super Tuesday. Buttigieg claimed, “today is a moment of truth… the truth is the path has narrowed to a close, for our candidacy, if not for our cause.” Buttigieg then endorsed Joe Biden.

Hours later, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) announced the end of her candidacy. Klobuchar said, “It is up to us, all of us, to put our country back together, to heal this country and then to build something even greater. I believe we can do this together, and that is why today I am ending my campaign and endorsing Joe Biden for president.”

Within hours of each other, two candidates end their campaigns and endorse Biden. It begs credulity to think there wasn’t some coordination between the three campaigns and the Democrat establishment. It’s no secret the Democrat establishment does not want Bernie Sanders as their nominee. In a move that has all the fingerprints of the Deep State, the Democrats end two moderate campaigns and endorse Sleepy Joe. Perhaps as scripted, Biden did well on Super Tuesday.

I’m convinced that “Sleepy Joe” has morphed into “Deep State Joe” right before our eyes. The Democrat establishment and their media accomplices believe themselves to be smarter and more capable than average Democrats. They are certainly better equipped to make decisions than the assembled masses that follow Bernie Sanders.  I believe, from now until the convention, they will use every dirty trick in the book to get their way. That’s the “Deep State” playbook. Just as they despised Trump and his voters, they’re now focused on Bernie and his “Bros.”

I’m not that upset for Bernie and his collection of socialist followers. Any campaign that welcomes Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and calls her “one of the greatest people I know” gets no sympathy from me.

What’s galling, though, is the assertion that Biden somehow represents dignity. Both Klobuchar and Buttigieg spoke about how Biden represented dignity. Absolutely nothing could be further from the truth. Biden has as much in common with dignity as night has with day. Here’s a quick reminder.

Biden is corrupt. His experience in Ukraine and that of his son, Hunter, though covered up by the Democrats and their media allies, is demonstrably wrong. Biden acted arrogantly, inappropriately and bragged publicly about it.

Biden’s family is corrupt. Peter Schweizer  wrote for The New York Post on January 18, 2020, “Joe Biden emerges as the king of the sweetheart deal, with no less than five family members benefiting from his largesse, favorable access and powerful position for commercial gain.” Biden’s son Hunter, son-in-law Howard, brothers James and Frank, and sister Valerie, according to Schweizer, benefited greatly and financially from Deep State Joe’s connections.

No conservative should ever forget that it was Deep State Joe Biden who attacked decent men who were nominated for the Supreme Court.

First, Biden went after Judge Robert Bork in 1987.  Mary Ellen Bork, wife of Judge Bork, wrote, “Beginning with Senator Joe Biden, the Democratic senators all declared how fairly the nominee would be treated, and yet one by one they distorted his positions, making statements which coordinated perfectly with the positions taken by the special interest groups in their newspaper ads and interviews.”

Having established partisan attacks as the norm for SCOTUS nominees, Biden saved his most savage attacks for Justice Clarence Thomas. Thomas, in a recent documentary, said of Biden and the other Democrats, “People should just tell the truth: ‘This is the wrong black guy; he has to be destroyed.’ Just say it. Then now we’re at least honest with each other. The idea was to get rid of me. And then after I was there, it was to undermine me.”

Biden led his committee to impugn and attack an African American conservative jurist who did not deserve this treatment. It is no wonder the words “high-tech lynching” still ring out. Biden, for his part, has apologized for how he treated Anita Hill!

If these are the values of #DeepStateJoe and this is how he demonstrates dignity, then we don’t need him. His crowds chant “Go Joe Go.” I agree. It is time for DeepStateJoe to go.
