Grenell’s New Hires Are Going To ENRAGE The ‘Indentity Politics’ Leftists

For an administration that is supposedly the embodiment of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ there sure is a lot of upward mobility for some of the special interest groups Dems try to rally against Trump.

The rainbow crowd gave us grim warnings that LGBT(etc) peeps would be persona non grata in a Trump administration. And yet Peter Thiel and Richard Grenell are among his more trusted advisors. Grenell himself would have been widely touted as a trailblazer for being given such prestigious posts within the White House… if only there weren’t an (R) after Trump’s name.

You can’t let Trump have any wins, right? It’s bad for Democrat / Media messaging.

And who did Grenell hire in turn?

He opened up yet another ‘first’ that the Media wouldn’t touch with a 10′ pole.

Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell officially tapped Lora Shiao Monday to serve as the acting director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC).

Grenell’s office pointed out to Daily Caller that Shiao will be the first ever woman to head the NCTC, and she will take over active duties from the current NCTC director, Russell Travers, in April. Shiao is expected to assume the deputy director position if the Senate confirms Pentagon Special Operations official Christopher Miller, whom President Donald Trump has signaled he will nominate to serve as the next permanent director of NCTC.

NCTC reports directly to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Shiao previously served as the center’s executive director, and her previous role will be filled by Clare Linkins, the NCTC’s current director of strategic operational planning.

“Acting DNI Grenell is excited and proud to promote Lora and Clare to these critical positions, where they will lead the nation’s efforts to counter terrorism,” Assistant director of national intelligence Amanda Schoch said in a statement. “Lora and Clare are both NCTC veterans, with more than 25 years of combined experience at the Center.”Daily Caller [emphasis added]
