The big question is whether Bernie’s supporters will do the same.
Bernie, the supposed leader of a “movement”, just folded like a cheap suit.
The endorsement came during a Zoom meeting with Biden that was broadcast for the public. It comes as quite a surprise after Bernie suspended his campaign last week but refused to withdraw completely, hoping to secure more delegates in order to force the Democrats further left at the convention.
It would seem that uniting the Democrats in order to defeat Trump is more important than his commitment to “democratic socialism.”
Ex-Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) endorsed former rival Joe Biden during a virtual event Monday.
“We need you in the White House. I will do all that I can to see that that happens, Joe,” Sanders told Biden during the former vice president’s virtual event on the coronavirus.
“Today, I am asking all Americans — I’m asking every Democrat, I’m asking every independent, I’m asking a lot of Republicans — to come together in this campaign to support your candidacy, which I endorse,” Sanders added.

Let’s hope he’s richly rewarded for his obedience and coming to heel like a good boy with perhaps a pat on his head and a pudding cup–because you know that he’s not the right race, gender, or age to be Joe’s running mate.

Biden was grateful for the endorsement.
“I think that your endorsement means a great deal. It means a great deal to me. I think people are going to be surprised that we are apart on some issues but we’re awfully close,” Biden told Sanders. “I’m going to need you, not just to win the campaign, but to govern.”

He’s going to need every endorsement that he gets.
Joe seems to be a bit confused these days with a number of gaffes and an inability to keep hold of his thoughts long enough to express them.
Biden announces that he and Bernie will establish "six policy working groups" to focus on:
-On the economy
-On education
-On criminal justice
-On immigration,
-On climate change

That’s not looking great.
Speaking of things not looking great, this news came out on the same day that The New York Times posted an article reporting that the former Democrat Vice President didn’t “reach out” to a 30-year old freshman Congresswoman who was a bartender just two short years ago.
This is somehow “newsworthy.”
During the phone interview, AOC said that in order to get a vocal endorsement, Biden has to go further left and embrace some of her far-left positions whole-heartedly. She said that Joe’s floated compromise on Medicare-For-All–dropping the age limit down to 60–was just “insulting.”
The Bernie Bros ate it up, though.

Someone has a high opinion of herself considering the candidate that she backed just endorsed his competitor.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Socialists of America, the political ideology to which both Bernie and AOC ascribe, refuses to endorse Joe.
