Can you imagine the cops in YOUR town going door to door with a message like this one? At least they’ve got a sense of humor about it.
Cops in India can’t rely on tech to get their message out to the public. After all, many people in India can barely manage the cost of food, let alone the latest tech gadgets.
So, when India put out their three-week lockdown noice, how would a country of more than 1.3 billion people get their coronavirus message to the public in a way that will make people sit up and listen?
They came up with something creative. They gave their cops some memorable costumes to wear:

We can’t be the only ones who picked up on the irony of these guys standing in a huddle to teach us about ‘social distancing’.
Those costumes though! With the shield and the jester staff, that getup looks almost surreally medieval.
Of course, there were others.
These ones are even dancing.
Because really, what’s a video in from India without any dancing?
I gotta say, it’s a lot better than the virus ‘cure’ some of their countrymen were trying advocating a few weeks back.
