BIDEN IN ON FLYNN: What Did The Vice President Know And When Did He Know It?

To quote one famous moment from Biden himself, ‘This is a big [effing] deal.’

The entire impeachment nightmare we just went through was supposedly because Trump tried to use the government to destroy a political opponent.

How ironic would it be if Obama/Biden were caught red-handed doing exactly that — to Trump back in 2016?

More than ironic, such a scandal in the Obama/Biden administration would make Richard Nixon’s Presidency look like George Washington’s by comparison. Watergate break-in? Pshaw. That’s kindergarten stuff.

At this point, there is evidence that Obama played a hand in the takedown of Flynn — directly.

Investigators were going to close the Flynn case on January 4, but Strzok urgently held it open. On the Fifth, we have key players — including Obama — specifically discussing Flynn.

Newly released documents from the Department of Justice show President Obama informed former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates of a phone call between former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in December 2016. He did so in the Oval Office.

“Yates first learned of the December 2016 calls between [LTG Michael] Flynn and [Russian Ambassador to the United States, Sergey] Kislyak on January 5, 2017, while in the Oval Office. Yates, along with then FBI-Director James Comey, then-CIA Director John Brennan, and then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, were at the White House to brief members of the Obama Administration on the classified Intelligence Community Assessment on Russian Activities in Recent U.S Elections. President Obama was joined by his National Security Advisor, Susan Rice, and others from the National Security Council,” the document states.

“After the briefing, Obama dismissed the group but asked Yates and Comey to stay behind. Obama started by saying he had ‘learned of the information about Flynn’ and his conversation with Kislyak about sanctions. Obama specified he did not want any additional information on the matter, but was seeking information on whether the White House should be treating Flynn any differently, given the information. At that point, Yates had no idea what the President was talking about, but figured it out based on the conversation. Yates recalled Comey mentioning the Logan Act, but can’t recall if he specified there was an ‘investigation,'” it continues. — TownHall

We’ve got documents to back that up.

That doesn’t mention Biden, though. Isn’t he in the clear?

Not so fast. Byron York ties this together with something else that has been raising red flags for us for years…

What does that have to do with Biden? The interview notes made no mention of the vice president. But think back to one of the stranger moments in the Trump-Russia investigation: Rice, on January 20, 2017, at almost the exact minute the Obama administration left office, sent an email to herself documenting the January 5 meeting. This is how it began: “On January 5, following a briefing by IC leadership on Russian hacking during the 2016 presidential election, President Obama had a brief follow-on conversation with FBI Director Jim Comey and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates in the Oval Office. Vice President Biden and I were also present.”

Oh — so Biden was there, too. The Rice memo-to-self always appeared to be an oddly-timed effort to cover for Obama. “President Obama began the conversation by stressing his continued commitment to ensuring that every aspect of this issue is handled by the intelligence and law enforcement communities ‘by the book,’ Rice wrote. “The president stressed that he is not asking about, initiating or instructing anything from a law enforcement perspective. He reiterated that our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would by the book.” Got that? By the book.

There was a bit of a protest-too-much quality to it all. And indeed, a lot of Republicans, as they tried to figure out what steps the intelligence and law enforcement agencies took against incoming President Trump, have always wondered just what Obama knew about it. But now, it just so happens that another person who was in the room — the Oval Office — is running for president. So it seems reasonable to ask what Joe Biden knew about the intelligence and law enforcement efforts against the Trump team. —WashingtonExaminer

If Biden knew, how much did he know? How directly involved was he in the ritual (political) sacrifice of General Flynn in the greater game of achieving political advantage?

Sleepy Joe has some questions we will want his mumbled replies to.

In the words of Mark Levin while on FoxNews:

“We’re supposed to believe that during the Obama administration, the FBI went rogue, the Department of Justice went rogue, the CIA went rogue, the DNI went rogue, the NSC went rogue … and Barack Obama didn’t know anything?” the conservative radio host asked on “Hannity.”

“The fact of the matter is they have never been asked about the role they had, any knowledge they had, those presidential briefing documents have never been made public. This is a massive cover-up of the greatest scandal in American history,” Levin said. — FoxNews

Obama may have been the ‘scandal-free’ president to the Three Stooges media clowns that had their administration’s back these past 12 years or so, but they won’t be able to cover him forever.

History will have a much different view of that administration than the ‘tingle up my leg’ press tried to deliver to us.
