The petty tyrants who gladly chant ‘Bake The Damned Cake’ suddenly change their tune when their OWN priorities get offended.
We’ve heard all the familiar slogans, about relationships, haven’t we?
‘The heart wants what it wants.’
‘Love is love.’
‘Who are you to judge?’
With those as the philosophical starting points of the Left’s ideology, you would think they are open to pretty nearly any relationship, right?
If a leftist’s little girl came home with a drug cartel leader, or a lesbian interpretive dance instructor, or a circus performer, or an 80-year-old rodeo clown, it doesn’t matter so long as they have feelings for each other, or whatever. Right?
Oh yeah? Let’s put that tolerance to a REAL test. What if the guy who proposes to your little girl happens to be *gasp* a conservative?
Spoiler alert: they fail that test. Spectacularly.

Can you not hear the pain in this lovely young woman’s voice?
Her short-sighted and petulant parents have chosen their petty political hatred over the relationship with their own daughter.
They would sooner burn bridges than bury the hatchet over political differences. News flash to her parents: that hatred will give you cold comfort in your old age, when you’re alone and longing to see your estranged grandchildren.
And for what? To ‘stick it’ to Orange Man Bad? As though he even knows who you are?
Is it to prove their Progressive Street Cred to strangers on the Interwebz who would gladly throw them to the lions over the smallest political misstep?
What kind of a stone-hearted monster EVER tells their kid they are incapable of being loved, let alone in response to being the victim of ASSAULT. There are malevolent and evil actions in this world, and doing that to your own flesh and blood is one of them.
Whoever the hell was stupid enough to say that to her needs therapy. ASAP.
This young woman is from Texas. Somehow I suspect the number of honorable Texans (conservative and otherwise) who would gladly stand in for her derelict parents on her big day would be line up for miles.
She’s doing the right thing, by turning her back on the toxic advice of these control freaks. ‘Mom and dad’ (if they still have any claim to that title) haven’t clued in that their little girl isn’t theirs to control, but that she’s a free moral agent, charting her own course in life.
It looks like she’s already off to a good start… despite some serious obstacles she’s had to overcome to get even this far.
Or, perhaps, because those very obstacles played some role in her becoming the strong young woman we saw in this short clip.
