Chinese Official Facing Tough Questions About Treatment Of Uyghurs … Gives Lame Answer(Video)

Remember back in 2016 when Trump was the LONE voice criticizing China’s government? Suddenly, the rest of the world is singing from his songsheet.

Just like in that story about the Emporer’s New Clothes, it sometimes takes one person with enough chutzpah with a DGAF attitude to public opinion to say the unpopular thing.

That becomes the crack in the dam giving everyone else permission to talk about a taboo topic. For all the criticism he got for his talk about China sort of seems like Trump got the ball rolling on this.

Now we see how they have been treating their neighbors (including the oppression of Hong Kong and the incursion into India) and their trade partners (including threats to cut off medical supplies in retaliation).

We have seen how they bully their financial partners into cowed compliance or servile silence (see: the NBA) and have corrupted members of international organizations whose job it is to be impartially working in the best interest of everyone (see: World Health Organization).

But ever since Trump has thrown a spotlight on them, cracks have formed in the complicit silence about their practices.

We’ve come to the point where BBC is bold enough to question an Ambassador about a video shot in China that bears an eerie resemblance to the atrocities happening in German and Russian trainyards in the mid 20th Century.

Now we’ve got a chorus of voices speaking up. But in America, it seems to be coming from just one side of the aisle.

Where are all those ‘woke’ NBA players NOW?

Where is Nike with their socially conscious messaging NOW?

Where are all the protesters that cry out against ‘Islamophobia’ NOW?

Here’s a little historical context for the folks who love to invoke Hitler and Nazis in every second sentence.

Week after week that train whistle would blow. We would dread to hear the sound of those old wheels because we knew that the Jews would begin to cry out to us as they passed our church. It was so terribly disturbing! We could do nothing to help these poor miserable people, yet their screams tormented us. We knew exactly at what time that whistle would blow, and we decided the only way to keep from being so disturbed by the cries was to start singing our hymns. By the time that train came rumbling past the church yard, we were singing at the top of our voices. If some of the screams reached our ears, we’d just sing a little louder until we could hear them no more. Years have passed and no one talks about it much anymore, but I still hear that train whistle in my sleep. I can still hear them crying out for help. God forgive all of us who called ourselves Christians, yet did nothing to intervene.

They have endless criticism for injustice in America, real and imagined. But for China? Crickets.

We hear endless comparisons of Trump being ‘literally Hitler’… while these same voices are dead silent about Chinese atrocities?

As tensions with China heat up, tension must be building in Feinstein’s office, too. Because suddenly that Chinese spy story of hers is even MORE awkward than before.

Are they afraid of losing revenue? Or are they afraid that Communist China knows a trick or two about how to absolutely destroy a man?

Do we SERIOUSLY think that Joe Biden will be a strong voice of opposition to China?

The same Joe who gave a one-sided sweetheart deal granting Chinese companies access to American stock exchanges without the transparency other companies are obligated to provide at around the same time that his son flew there on Air Force 2 and reportedly landed an enormous deal with Chinese investors?

Sure.

And I’ve got a bridge in Shanghai to sell ya.
