BEHEADING: French History Teacher Beheaded By 18yo … Was It Something He Taught?

Could a cartoon he showed in class have cost this teacher his life? And yes, that infamous catchphrase was reportedly uttered. But it’s not yet being called ‘terror’.

The attacker — whose name has not yet been released — is now dead, but here’s what we know about the events so far.

For one thing, the guy was shot dead by police and was reportedly wearing a ‘bomb vest’.

For another, the now-deceased middle-school teacher had been covering some lessons on the topic of free expression in which he shared the now-infamous Mohammad cartoons from Charlie Hebdo for discussion.

Now, he is dead, and images of his severed head was uploaded to Twitter shortly before he was shot dead by police.

A knife-wielding man shouted “Allahu Akbar” and then beheaded a middle school teacher on a street in Paris on Friday — in apparent retaliation after the educator had shown students cartoons of the Muslim Prophet Muhammad, according to reports.

Immediately after the beheading, the attacker claimed responsibility and posted an image of his victim’s severed head on Twitter, a police source told NBC News. The grisly image was removed by the social-media site.

The attacker — who was also armed with a gun and shot dead moments later by cops — was the father of a student at the school who may have had terrorist ties, according to Le Parisien and Le Monde.

…Police found the victim, whose first name was revealed as “Samuel P.” by Le Monde and who was born in 1972 — and the suspect was still nearby.

Confronted, the suspect threatened police, who opened fire, killing him, the report said. –NYPost

Some more details…

The suspected attacker was seen by a police patrol car carrying a knife just a short distance from where the attack took place.

Claims of the attacker being a parent of one of the kids seem unlikely…

The dead suspected terrorist was described as an 18-year-old who was born in Moscow, and who had links with the school.

The bloodbath took place in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, a suburb some 25 miles from the centre of the French capital on Friday at around 5 pm (1500 GMT) near a school.

Isn’t it interesting that this (apparently) jihadist attacker stands at the exact ideological meeting point of two Leftist trends in America?

On one hand, Cancel culture is just the Jayvee expression of this kind of violence against ‘heretics’ who step out of line and say something offensive to the guy holding the knife. How different is that, really, from some of the so-called ‘anti-racist’ rhetoric on social media openly wishing harm on people for the grave sin of being born with the ‘wrong’ skin color?

On the other hand, violence to achieve political ends is a very prominent theme among the extreme elements on the political left. Not only have we seen two Trump supporters murdered in cold blood over the last couple of months, but we have also seen a video (in another story we reported today) calling for the guillotine and literal murder of ‘random’ people with whom they disagree politically?

It all comes from the same amoral place of political power at any price.
