From the very start of Trump’s presidency, leftists invoked the phrase ‘by any means necessary’. If anyone thinks those were just empty words, they simply haven’t been paying attention.
The question WE need to be ready for is ‘what will that mean if their side doesn’t get the result they hope to wake up to on November 4th?
If we don’t know what their plans are, they could catch the rest of us flat-footed. Having seen cities burn through the summer, nobody really wants to be caught flat-footed when that crowd starts pitching a fit.
First off, we need to realize that their side has been (with some big help from the parasitic press) floating rumors that even if Trump loses a fair election, he will barricade himself in the White House. The images they inovoke are as over-the-top and cartoon-ish as some second-rate Hollywood adaptation of a Capone-era gangster with a tommygun screaming defiant last words at the lawmen. Something like, ‘you’ll never take me alive!’
Chris Wallace(D) had some role in propping up this unfounded fantasy, despite the fact that Hillary was the one on record saying Biden should not concede under ANY circumstance.
That is the pretext for what some of the Left’s favorite brick-chucking activists are prepared to do next.
The phrase ‘become ungovernable’ should catch the attention of anyone who watched destructive mobs sweeping through American shopping districts and later suburbs this summer. They are promising more of the same.
They are attempting to topple a government if the American public fails to give them what they have demanded through the summer, and the result big-dollar donations and massive efforts from media and Big Tech collaboration have been strenuously pushing us toward.
The Federalist’s Joy Pullmann has an article [worth reading in full] that details exactly what we’re up against.
Riot and protest instigators plan to “make sure Trump leaves the White House” by any means necessary after the Nov. 3 election, according to website posts from the group Shut Down DC and their allies. “W]e’re making plans to be in the streets before the polls even close, ready to adapt and respond to whatever comes our way,” the group says on its website currently.
“Trump has shown that he will stop at nothing to maintain his grip on power. Trump will not leave office without mass mobilization and direct action,” an Oct. 13 version of the same web page reads, according to Internet Archive records.
…On the page, Shut Down DC sketches out its plans for election night and immediately following. On Nov. 4-7, the group says it plans to “do whatever it takes”:
In the days following the election we’ll continue to come out into the streets every day to respond to rapidly changing events. We may be waiting for votes to be counted or we may be responding to major attacks on democracy. Over the next few weeks we’ll use our Spokes Council process to plan actions that are flexible and can scale to respond to a lot of different scenarios.
Then, on Nov. 8-11, the group’s plan is to meet members of Congress returning to Washington DC for the lame-duck session. “If Trump is trying to launch a coup, that’s no time for business as usual. We’ll meet them at the train station or the airports or if they drive into town we can meet them at their homes,” the website says.
…The post-election plan of action links to the group’s advice about taking “appropriate precautions” for security. This includes forming “affinity groups” “that will go into more detail and possibly engage in higher risk actions.”
“Keep in mind that not everyone needs to know every detail of your plans,” says the post-election plan about “taking appropriate precautions.” “We don’t! Feel free to only share what people outside your [affinity group] need to know, and keep the specific action details close to the vest.” —Federalist
Here’s another quote from the agitators that her piece dug up:
We’ll keep it going until Trump concedes. We could be in the streets throughout the fall and into the winter– maybe as lots of rolling waves of action or possibly as a few major tsunamis! In other parts of the country, as vote counts conclude, our focus will turn from protecting the vote counts to themselves being ungovernable.
As it becomes clear that Trump’s coup is failing, institutions and the elites will start to abandon him – or we will approach them as part of the problem. Either Amazon will shut down AWS for the Trump loyalists in the government or we’ll shut down their fulfillment centers. Either governors will tell their national guards to stand down or we’ll shut down their state capitals as well. Over time, Trump will grow increasingly isolated and his empire will crumble down around him.
Then — and this is the important part — Biden will move into the White House and be sworn in as the 46th President of the United States. —Federalist
Of course, every mention of such action is universally panned as a ‘conspiracy theory’ by the media and other leftists. (Does Nadler even acknowledge Antifa’s existence yet?)
If we have individuals ready to set up a mob that amounts to an attempted insurrection, we need to be ready to match that force.
What they’re probably hoping for is some civilian to open fire on them, so they can claim someone on our side is instigating a civil war.
There is a smarter response.
That is to see this threat coming, to anticipate their tactics, and to have strength in numbers on standby to defeat them, be ready to disrupt their actions, seize ringleaders, freeze relevant bank accounts (if Feds are not already working toward that) and lay appropriately harsh charges against participants so that catch-and-release isn’t an option, and culprits are swiftly taken out of circulation.
Signal ahead of time the intention to vigorously apply RICO investigations to participants, organizers, and their financial backers.
Any charity, company, organization, or individual whose money is found to be supporting any acts of violent insurrection will be potentially subject to criminal forensic audits and associated penalties to the fullest extent of the law.
Charities will be stripped of status.
These would-be revolutionaries have been acting with impunity, leveraging our own system against us. It’s time we used the law to put them in their place.
Peaceful protest is protected in the First Amendment. These people are neither peaceful nor protestors. They are political agitators, trying to use violence for political advantage.
There is a name for such people: Terrorists.
It’s time they learn that America does not negotiate with terrorists. We grind them to dust.
