Tom Cruise gets plenty of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ when people hear he does his own stunts… how about this firey young chica?

With the long-delayed release of Wonder Woman 1984 finally being released, people have started to notice the work of the young actress who played Wonder Woman as she was growing up and receiving her training.

If you’ve seen the movie, you know that even as a kid, the character was semi-divine and an absolute badass. Naturally, they had to find an actress able to embody that on film.

They found Lilly Aspell, and the stunt coordinator said of her ‘she can stunt herself. We can’t find anyone to stunt her.’ Gal Gadot called her ‘amazing’ and ‘the real deal’.

She plays a young Diana in the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984 movie – and Scottish actress Lilly Aspell performed her own stunts in the action film, with Gal Gadot calling her ‘the real deal.’

The keen equestrian, 13, prepared for the role with sword training, paddleboard flips and show-jumping and has said that being active helped her to outrun the infamous Amazons in gruelling scenes – just as well, because director Patty Jenkins wanted to use ‘minimal CGI’.

Wonder Woman’s official title in her homeland is Princess Diana of Themyscira and the adult version of Diana is played by Israeli actress Gadot, 35 – the sequel is released on Wednesday.

…Both Lilly’s parents are jockeys and she has won countless awards as a show-jumper and equestrian on her pony, Turbo, all documented on her Instagram page.

She shared one picture of herself balancing on the back of her horse with no hands, and another with a selection of rosettes, as she wrote: ‘Winner, winner, chicken dinner.’

Lilly previously told The Hollywood Reporter: ‘My favorite scene to shoot was riding Vendeval, the gray stallion, through the yellow field. I think it is an amazing scene and made me smile when I watched the movie.

Giles’ unique take on these terrific women makes the scripture come alive. This book is real, raw, relevant, and irreverent. Giles’ prayer is that after reading, Biblical Badasses: The Women, not only will your noggin be filled with these amazing tales of high and lows from real women who rocked in a hard place, via the power of God, but that you will get off your butt, quit pursuing stupidity, start chasing down your high calling and at the end of your life, you too, like the holy femme fatales featured herein, will have left a massive scar on Satan’s haggard backside.
