Does this seem like they’re ‘testing the waters’ before they pull the plug on the President completely? It does to us.

He is the duly-elected President of the United States, addressing his followers on a platform that receives special protection precisely because they are a ‘platform’ and not a ‘publisher’.

Playing by those rules, they shouldn’t be censoring any content unless it violates some kind of a law — threats of violence, for instance.

And yet, Twitter tried a new trick with the President’s tweets today.

We could tell you, but it’s easier to show you:

Here’s a screenshot yours truly took on my own laptop after hearing about their new limitation.

What was so serious that he couldn’t share it?

Meanwhile, this tweet about Hillary going back to that Russia Collusion well didn’t get a censorship filter. Can’t imagine why not?

Couldn’t have anything to do with the (D) after her name, could it?

Or all the Silicon Valley peeps lining up for plum positions in a Biden White House?

Nah, couldn’t have anything to do with that.

Oh, Twitter’s little trial run didn’t go so well. They backed off.

(For now.)
