The Presidential Medal of Freedom is an award bestowed by the president of the United States to recognize people who have made “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.”

A contribution to the security or national interests?

Do you think exposing a corrupt and coordinated effort by high-ranking DOJ officials to violate the Constitutional protections of a citizen and use taxpayer dollars to wage a war of personal destruction against political rivals?

THAT sort of ‘security’ or ‘national interests’?

Defending the Constitution from threats foreign …and domestic?

Sure seems like a legit pick from where we’re sitting.

President Donald Trump will award Republican California Rep. Devin Nunes and Republican Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor.

Trump will give Nunes the award at the White House on Monday and a Republican source told the Daily Caller that Jordan will be given the award on Jan. 11. Both Nunes and Jordan have been staunch supporters of the president and helped defend the president during his impeachment hearings in the House. –DailyCaller

Without the hard work and diligence of these guys in their oversight roles, the Spygate scandal might never have come to light.
