George Stephanopoulos seems to think we’ve forgotten that he was the communication director for the Clinton Campaign… and has been acting the part of a party flack ever since.
Nope. We remember the ‘Bimbo eruptions’ too.
But now George would have us believe he is a ‘serious journalist’, hard at work doing his journalisming with Rand Paul.
Mercifully, Amy Klobuchar ran into audio troubles, giving George and Rand enough time to more fully hash out their disagreements on the question of election integrity — and Rand was ready for him.
Little George, on the other hand…. not so much. He got publicly spanked.
Take notes boys and girls — when you’re facing down ‘do you still beat your wife’ style gotcha questions from a hostile press, this is the way to handle them.
George went home looking like a shmuck.
