To really get the full sense of this story, we need to step back and look at the context.

Since around the middle of March, Coronavirus has been the ‘song of one note’ sung by everyone in the Democrat party.

Every political calculation has been tied to that over-arching narrative. Every story has tried to hang every instance of bad news like an albatross around the necks of both Donald Trump personally, and the Republicans more generally.

The refrain drummed into our heads, again and again, was that Democrats are the science-loving compassionate defenders of all that is good and right in the world. Republicans, on the other hand, are reckless, science-denying, serial killers that will dance on your grandmother’s grave.

They almost wet themselves with joy when Trump came down with it — and even tried to weaponize his recovery against him. (Pelosi unveils plan for 25th Amendment to analyze Trump) And there was a definite I-told-you-so tone any time someone in the Republican constellation fell sick or died with symptoms. They all but danced a jig when a death was announced.

Republicans had every high-profile instance shouted from the rooftops, but Democrats never seemed to have their cases publicized. We’ll leave our readers’ imaginations to draw their own conclusions about what might motivate such a bias.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to House members Tuesday urging them to follow social distancing guidelines after, she says, members recently congregated on the House floor “ignoring “the Floor procedures that were established to keep Members safe.”

Pelosi’s stern missive comes one day after her narrow reelection as Speaker on Sunday — when, as Fox News reported, Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Wisc.) returned to the House floor to cast a vote for the Speaker just six days after Moore announced she had tested positive for COVID-19.

…Rep. Moore announced her positive test for COVID-19 on Dec. 28, six days prior to returning to Washington, D.C. to vote for Pelosi on Jan. 3. She did not specify at the time when she had received the positive result.

Moore announced wrote Sunday in a: “My quarantine is over and I am medically cleared to travel and work on behalf of Wisconsin’s Fourth Congressional District.” –JustTheNews

‘Medically cleared’, eh?

By who’s standard?

As Fox reported, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends 14-day quarantine as the best way to reduce the spread of COVID-19, while two additional acceptable alternatives: 10 days with no symptoms or seven days with a negative test. A six-day quarantine would not be compliant with any of these guidelines. –JustTheNews

Oh, ok. That’s how this works.

So long as you’re voting for a Democrat to keep political power, anything goes. But if someone had shown up to vote for a REPUBLICAN in a razor-thin vote for who gets to hold that coveted gavel, there would have been absolute hell to pay. And their media flunkies would have led that charge.

Because leftist outrage is nothing if not selective.

It’s sad that the Left actually thinks of Pelosi as an example of strong female leadership.

She pales in comparison to the real deal.

Biblical Badasses: The Women

In Doug Giles’ latest book, Biblical Badasses: The Women, Giles spotlights ten epic ladies who did awesome things for God with the odds severely stacked against them. These girls weren’t your typical church ladies. They were holy movers and shakers who upset hell with their God-honoring, faith-filled, lives. Giles’ unique take on these terrific women makes the scripture come alive. This book is real, raw, relevant, and irreverent. Giles’ prayer is that after reading, Biblical Badasses: The Women, not only will your noggin be filled with these amazing tales of high and lows from real women who rocked in a hard place, via the power of God, but that you will get off your butt, quit pursuing stupidity, start chasing down your high calling and at the end of your life, you too, like the holy femme fatales featured herein, will have left a massive scar on Satan’s haggard backside.
