The militant left has both an agenda and visceral hate for anything that stands in its way. History, tradition, and institutions are some of the more stubborn opposition.

It should come as no surprise, then, that Christianity — whose ultimate source of authority is well beyond the reach of the left’s ability to challenge it — ranks as one of the secular left’s favorite whipping boys. Anything they can do to undermine, discredit, or diminish its cultural influence they will gladly do.

Taking a page from Rahm Emanuel’s favorite political catchphrase, Huffpo’s propaganda team is trying to link the events of what’s been dubbed the DC riot to — get this — Christian education.

Recently the Huffington Post ran an article that was extremely hostile to Christian education here in the United States. The overall implication of the article was that the January 6 rioting at the Capitol building was directly tied to the government allowing and possibly funding conservative Christian education in the US. Specific curricula were cited and quoted (specifically, A-Beka, Bob Jones and Accelerated Christian Education) and blame was explicitly and carelessly lobbied at these schools and curriculum.

“Their religion-centered, anti-Democrat, anti-science, anti-multicultural message mirrors the Christian nationalism seen at the U.S. Capitol riot.”[1]

Such brash and unfair bias cannot go unanswered. The overwhelming majority of schools using these curricula are highly civic-minded American patriots. They love God and their country and deplore violence of any kind. Painting an entire demographic with a wide brush based on hear-say alone is slanderous. It is also disingenuous. The year 2020 was filled with leftist progressives rioting and looting all over the country in response to their own perceived inequities, yet none of that is alluded to in the Huffington Post article. If the author was seeking to be equitable, would she not have to acknowledge the possibility that government schools and their curriculum might bear some blame for those riots? Indeed the article concludes with just the opposite reaction. –CP

The Christian Post article went on to explain the grossly inaccurate slander of Christian educators, of Christians generally, the wider context of an attempt to suppress ideas in conflict to the left’s ‘progressive’ agenda.

But this isn’t the ONLY expression of violence we’ve seen in the 21st Century, is it?

It isn’t hard to find examples of extremism perpetrated by people who HATE the same Christians she’s trying to throw under the bus. I have previously written about a friend who was martyred for his faith in his hometown in India, but we don’t need to look so far afield.

In years past, concerns were raised about the more radical and violent strains of Islam looking to draw the more mainline Islam communities into their way of seeing the world by donating education materials for their Madrasahs that would be laced with some of their more malicious ideas and values.

More recently, we have seen literally billions of dollars in property damage, dozens of lives lost and hundreds if not thousands of police officers injured (sometimes maimed) by violent protesters.

Unlike the explicitly NON-VIOLENT teaching of traditional Christianity, both of these examples point to groups where violence is actually embraced as a legitimate means to an end.

You could bet your bottom dollar that Huffpo not only refused to make comparable broad-sweeping criticisms about the connection of either radical Islamists or ‘Progressive’ radical activists and the dangerous ideas that drive them?

No.

But they are more than happy to take a swipe at Christians. Why? Because they are a ‘news’ outlet more interested in ideology than they are in objective reporting of fact.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
