Hey Cuomo: Why Did This Big-Shot New York Democrat Get His COVID Shot… In Florida?

To hear the Democrat Media flunkies tell it, everything bad that happened with the Chinavirus was Trump’s fault, personally. But a few heroic blue-state governors saved the day.

There is an inherent problem with narratives. External evidence can blow even the most carefully-constructed lie all to hell.

While Trump was the favorite scapegoat the left would trot out, he isn’t the only one. Every red-state governor who refused to genuflect to the accepted Chicken-little conventional wisdom that we’re all going to die if we don’t put everyone on indefinite house arrest.

Businesses were curtailed — often bankrupted. Families were kept apart for special occasions. Even funerals couldn’t be attended by more than a few people.

But a bunch of those supposedly science-hating red states refused to march to that drumbeat. They resisted demands for massive shutdowns.

The vaccine rollouts were different too. New York wound up throwing away a crazy number of wasted doses, because of the micromanaged restrictions associated with who gets to receive a vaccination.

Meanwhile, Florida, so often held up as a bogeyman, put these decisions in the hands of actual health care professionals, rather than government bean-counters.

What was the net result? Obviously, even the most optimistic experts weren’t predicting a rollout without any hiccups. But here’s one anecdote that speaks voumes.

A former head of New York state Democratic Party has already received his first dose of the coronavirus vaccine — no thanks to Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

John Sullivan, who was co-chairman of the state party in the 1990s, was among the New York snowbirds to become eligible for the shot in Florida before Cuomo opened vaccination sites to senior citizens in the Empire State.

“I got the vaccine down here. I probably wouldn’t have gotten it by now in New York,” Sullivan, 73, told The Post on Sunday.

The former upstate Oswego mayor — who worked for the Cuomo, David Paterson and Eliot Spitzer administrations — is still a legal New York resident but has been subleasing an apartment in St. Petersburg, Fla., since October, making him eligible to receive the shot there. –NewYorkPost

He was entirely within his rights to get the shot there. That’s not the point we’re making. We’re drawing attention to his own words, ‘I probably wouldn’t have gotten it by now in New York’.

Indeed. But then, it wouldn’t be the first time New York seniors got shafted in an Andrew Cuomo Coronavirus response ‘plan’.

If DeSantis and his red-state policies are the personifications of evil, why have they produced results in delivering the long-awaited vaccine that New York simply cannot match?

With Florida’s success, you can’t pin the blame on Trump. So who will Cuomo use as his NEXT scapegoat?

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
