Joe Biden is shocked — shocked! — that people think he has somehow been signaling Mexico’s criminal cartels to flood the border with illegal entrants. Wherever would they get such a crazy notion?
To hear him tell it, the situation on the border where they are building cages, now tents, now filling convention centers, now talking about using facilities at NASA to house everyone rushing the border in Texas was someone ELSE’s fault.
But where would they have gotten the wild idea that Joe Biden himself had extended an invitation to everyone south of the US border to just waltz on in, with no questions asked?
Certainly not from Joe himself, eh?
When our side said Joe told them to come, he called us liars. Let’s revisit the footage.

Also, this whole situation at the border is surely just another big misunderstanding.
He’s going to ask them nicely to wait on the other side of the border until he can accept their illegal entry into the country in a more decent and organized manner. Oh, is THAT how this works? We just ask the criminals nicely to stop behaving like criminals?
It’s not about shifting the relationship between incentives (profits of human smuggling, plus distracted border patrol with strained capacity) and consequences ( i.e.deterrents, the likelihood of failure, would-be asylum seekers waiting on the WRONG side of the border for their hearing).
