Rather than allocate COVID dollars by population, to offset the various expenses all states have experienced since the virus came along, Democrats picked another method.

And what a coincidence — their funding model just ‘happens’ to favor big-government, heavy-handed CCP virus interventionists over their light-touch, trust the citizens to manage their own risks open states.

And wouldn’t you know it? That means the $2Trillion dollar Democrat slush fund is about to rain money down on blue states.

What an amazing and unexpected coincidence. We can’t *possibly* imagine why Pelosi so ruthlessly blocked each and every one of those ‘skinny’ Coronavirus funding initiatives until AFTER Biden won… can you?

Here’s DeSantis calling out the Democrats over their cynical funding model.

Maybe states that are getting hosed here should bookmark this clip.

As should the GOP for races by candidates in any State that’s getting the short end of the stick in this funding model.

Here’s what he said, in case anything happens to the video.

“And we shouldn’t be penalizing states for doing a good job. But that is exactly what this bill does. Instead of using the share of the population, they are using the number of unemployed in a state, which means, states like Florida that have lower unemployment are getting penalized. States like New York and California who have higher unemployent are benefiting, they are getting a windfall of 2, 3, 4 billion dollars.
That is completely unfair. How someone in Florida would vote to penalize the State of Florida and send that money to New York and New Jersey and Illinois and California? I have no idea why you would want to do that. But as it stands right now, we would get, the State of Florida, $1.2 Billion dollars LESS than we would if they just did a straight share of the population, whereas states like New York, New Jersey, Illinois, and California and Pennsylvania would get more than their share of the population.

But should that bad math surprise us? Here’s an example of their idea of ‘helping’ in the same bill on a much smaller and understandable scale… the individual level.

Democrats’ holy grail is reducing income inequality. So it’s ironic that they are considering a bill to expand ObamaCare that will primarily benefit richer households and health-insurance companies.

The massive coronavirus relief bill racing through Congress provides substantial new health-insurance subsidies to upper-income households. A 60-year-old couple with two kids making $200,000 would receive a subsidy of $12,000. In some parts of the country where premiums are high, families with incomes exceeding half a million dollars will qualify for thousands of dollars in subsidies to buy an ObamaCare plan. In contrast, a family of four making $40,000 receives an added benefit of just $1,600. — NewYorkPost

Good on DeSantis for standing up against a bad bill, even if it will probably pass anyway.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
