The cool thing about these doorbell cameras is how they catch candid moments the world would have otherwise missed … like this one.
The video begins like any other video you might have seen from a doorbell camera. Some guy with an armload of packages arrives at the door, ready to make a delivery.
He struggles to bend down to set the packages on the step. He’s obviously got some kind of an injury that he’s managing to work through, but this ‘gig economy’ has given him a way to work around his limitations.
Good for him for making it work. It is interesting, sure, but not quite to the level that we’d share it with someone else… yet.
And then we see a flutter of movement behind him. The flag falls to the ground.

He bends down — again, you can tell it’s not easy for him to get low — and picks up the flag.
He looks around to see where it came from and decides what to do with it.
What he does with that flag next gives a pretty serious clue into the reason he has so much trouble bending down in the first place.
And if that doesn’t?
The snappy salute at the end probably cinches it.
