Pastor Artur Pawlowski lively defiance has warmed a lot of hearts for a lot of reasons.
The internet loved him because his internet exchanges chasing the authorities away from his church with his references to ‘gestapo’ were an instant viral sensation.
The anti-authoritarians loved him because he told the authorities they should be ashamed of themselves and should pound sand and never come back without a warrant.
Christians cheered him because he, together with a handful of other defiant leaders — including pastor Coates a few hours down the road in the same province who was jailed for defying lockdowns and leading worship — is standing up with the conviction that there is an authority higher than ‘Caesar’ whose rightful decrees must be heard and obeyed… and if prison is the price that is paid, so be it.
Hold that thought.

Remember when Art told the police to come back with a warrant? Well, they did. A secret warrant — obtained in secret, using secret evidence.
Watch the full report where we break it down.
To summarize: we’ve got a secret hearing and a secret warrant containing secret allegations against a pastor in Calgary, Alberta. And if that pastor doesn’t allow a health inspector to disrupt the sanctity of his church service, he will be taken before a judge — using any force necessary — and tossed in jail for contempt.
It’s hard to believe this is Canada. But if we know anything about Pastor Artur, he’s not scared of the government, and he’s not backing down.
I don’t want Artur to go to jail. I promise you, we’re going to do everything we can to keep that from happening. It’s going to cost tens of thousands of dollars, but we think it’s worth it to stand up for religious freedom, and Charter rights. — RebelNews
The non-parody version of Babylon Bee weighed in.
Remember, this pastor’s crime is not allowing police to come into his church, where parishioners have committed the grave sin of disobeying the State’s mandates for how many people can worship and where.
This is part of what the warrant says:
“In making an arrest under this Order, Law Enforcement is authorized to do anything necessary to carry out the arrest, including the use of as much reasonable force as may be necessary to make the arrest, and without warrant to enter any place where on reasonable grounds Law Enforcement believes that the offending person may be found.”
I know I’m just a silly person, but issuing a warrant for the crime of state-unapproved worship seems just a bit Gestapo-ish if you ask me. —NotTheBee

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
