Hear Herschel Walker’s Answer To The Question — Are You Running For Governor? (Video)

It isn’t just his athletic talent that has people looking up to Herschel Walker… and one of the things his supporters are eying is a possibility of him running for Senator in Georgia.

Will he be throwing his hat in the ring?

That was the question Maria Bartiromo asked him in her show on Sunday morning. His answer left some wriggle room, but it DID seem to have a pretty strong leaning in one direction.

Have a look, and tell us whether you saw the same thing we did.

The question she asked was:

“All right Herschel, we know that former President Trump wants you to run for Senate. What is the answer, are you considering running for the senate seat in Georgia in the 2022 race?”

His response, since the full video already got pulled down, was as follows:

Well, I’m very honored that they would consider me for the senate and you know my family we’re still going through this process of praying and really considering it and the same time, I take it very serious and people want me to decide like right now and I said guys I’m going to take my time because this is a very serious business thing but I will tell you this: Hershel Walker believes in God, I believe in the people, and I’m going to fight for the people of Georgia if I run so just stay tuned and I’ll tell you.

Does that little pitch at the end sound like someone who’s unwilling to jump into politics? Or does it sound like he’s whetting the public appetite for a run? If I were to stake a guess, I think there are better than even odds of him taking up this challenge and showing us just how capable a candidate — and Senator — he can eventually be.

As for what kind of a leader he would make? Go back to the beginning of the same interview with Maria and see what he has to say about voter id (he supports it), Woke corporations, the Baseball pullout of Atlanta, the voter election bill, the Olympics, China’s mistreatment of the Ughyurs, and even Candace Owens’ comment about the left ‘weaponizing’ people whose skin is black or brown to achieve political ends.

His answers are more reasoned and solid than many of the supposedly ‘professional’ politicians we’ve sent to DC to disappoint us. For as long as they remain available, here they are.
