Planned Parenthood Is FINALLY ‘Canceling’ Founder Margaret Sanger Because Of Her Racism

[Editor’s note: If you’re reading ClashDaily on a mobile device, swiping left or right can bring you to the stories that Big Tech’s algorithms have been throttling.]

With everyone and their dog being tagged as ‘racist’ or ‘problematic’ these days, Margaret Sanger’s days were numbered. But the way Planned Parenthood spun this is peak gaslighting.

If you watch their approach carefully, it tells you everything you need to know about how the left handles ALL of these controversies, about how masterfully they protect their friends and demonize their opponents.

Margaret Sanger supported abortion of ‘certain’ people because she wanted there to be fewer such people.

After years of pro-life criticism, Planned Parenthood’s president and chief executive officer, Alexis McGill Johnson, now says the abortion provider is “reckoning” with the legacy of its founder, Margaret Sanger, and they are looking to “cancel” the early abortion and birth control advocate over her connections to “white supremacist groups and eugenics.”

The abortion provider has largely avoided evidence that Sanger founded her “family planning” crusade because Sanger, a pioneer of the eugenics movement of the early 20th century, felt it was necessary to prevent the ‘tainted” and less desirable from reproducing, as she noted in various publications, contemporaneous to the founding of Planned Parenthood.

“The main objects of the Population Congress would be to apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is tainted, or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring[;] to give certain dysgenic groups in our population their choice of segregation or sterilization,” Sanger once wrote. — DailyWire

She applied her Darwinism to her social policies. She believed that people, just like breeds of farm animals, could be bred together strong with strong to make better breeds, with fewer negative traits.

If you asked Sanger to defend her beliefs, she would have used precisely the same arguments we hear today. She would have defaulted to her generation’s equivalent of ‘believe the science’. This should give us pause the next time we hear that same justification for the public to accept an unreasonable government demand.

But admitting that would put Planned Parenthood in a bad position. They would have to come to grips with the real reason such a large percentage of the babies they rip out of the womb are black. At a time in our history where everything is seen through a racial lens, that would be devastating.

So they tweak the story ever to slightly, to fit the Democrat narrative. She wasn’t a bigot trying to breed undesirables out of existence. She was a narrowly-focused crusader for a particular kind of rights, with no regard for what OTHER rights she was blind to.

Notice how that retcons someone who was hateful and villainous into someone who was heroic but misguided?

They can no longer ignore Sanger’s racism. But if they don’t redeem her, that taints the whole organization.

It makes you wonder how many marketers and focus groups this was run through before it went public, doesn’t it?

With that context, here is what Alexis McGill Johnson, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Action Fund tweeted about Sanger.

The world needs better role models than Sanger. Here are a few.

Biblical Badasses: The Women

In Doug Giles’ latest book, Biblical Badasses: The Women, Giles spotlights ten epic ladies who did awesome things for God with the odds severely stacked against them. These girls weren’t your typical church ladies. They were holy movers and shakers who upset hell with their God-honoring, faith-filled, lives. Giles’ unique take on these terrific women makes the scripture come alive. This book is real, raw, relevant, and irreverent. Giles’ prayer is that after reading, Biblical Badasses: The Women, not only will your noggin be filled with these amazing tales of high and lows from real women who rocked in a hard place, via the power of God, but that you will get off your butt, quit pursuing stupidity, start chasing down your high calling and at the end of your life, you too, like the holy femme fatales featured herein, will have left a massive scar on Satan’s haggard backside.
