This little boy was left behind in the desert. Overnight. In a foreign country, where he doesn’t speak the language. WHY are we incentivizing criminal cartels to do this?
How many examples of abused children will we need to see before we start taking this seriously?
A child and mother were thrown from a raft so that CBP would rescue them rather than catch the smugglers. Two very young little sisters were dropped over the 14-foot fence and left alone in the desert by traffickers.
And now we see a small boy left to fend for himself, alone in the desert. Overnight.
He is fortunate to still be alive, there are so many ways his story could have ended with grim finality.
The boy can be seen walking towards the Border Patrol agent and asking for assistance because he had ben dumped near the Rio Grande.
‘It’s that I was coming with a group and they abandoned me and I do not know where they are at,’ the child told the officer in Spanish.
The boy is one of hundreds of unaccompanied children crossing the border each day.
New government statistics released last week revealed that 171,000 migrants were caught by US authorities at the border in March – the highest monthly total in two decades and the latest sign of the mounting humanitarian challenge confronting President Joe Biden. —DailyMail

Here is a shorter version with translation into English.
In the video of the boy begging for help, the agent asks: ‘You do not know where they are at? They left you alone?’
The distraught child, struggling to maintain his composure, had apparently been sent to the United States by his parents, who were not part of the migrant group he had been traveling with.
‘At the end they abandoned me. I have come here to ask you for help,’ the frightened boy said.
The agent asked the boy if he had been instructed ‘to come ask for help,’ but the the child replied, ‘no, I am coming because if I did not, where am I going to go? Somebody could abduct me, kidnap me. I am scared.’ —DailyMail
As a point of reference for how bad this non-crisis crisis is becoming, here’s a figure for you to ask your lefty friends and family about.
The peak number of children held during Trump’s administration was 2600…
Held in grim steel-and-concrete cells built for adults, these young people are spending an average of 107 hours awaiting transfer to an HHS-run shelter, well over the 72-hour legal limit, the data shows. The largest number of unaccompanied minors held this way during the Trump administration was about 2,600 in June 2019, according to congressional testimony and two former Customs and Border Protection officials who were involved in handling that crisis. –NationalPulse
And after only 2 months under Joe Biden?
“As of a Tuesday report, there are 17,641 unaccompanied migrant minors in government care — 5,606 children are in CBP custody and 12,035 in the care of the Department of Human and Health Services, CBP told ABC News,” the article notes.
The most recent data dump means the Biden regime is detaining nearly seven times as many unaccompanied minors as the Trump administration. –NationalPulse
