Even Silent Cal had more press conferences by now than Biden– Marc Thiessen

Biden is the least accessible President in modern time… and now we know why.

Psaki sat down with David Axelrod for an interview, talking about some of the current political issues of the day. Obviously, this included Joe Biden.

Axelrod stated that Biden gave the honest answer that he didn’t think the increase would be included in the bill, but him telling that to the reporter must have given Psaki a lot of heartburn and made her ask herself why Biden would be allowed to roll around in the hallways doing impromptu interviews. He then asked Psaki how she managed that.

Psaki laughed off the incident, and explained that it happened after she had already left work and Biden was heading back to his residence. She then claimed that Biden takes questions “nearly every day that he’s out in front of the press.”

“That is not something we recommend. In fact, a lot of times we say ‘don’t take questions,'” she continued. “But he’s going to do what he wants to do because he’s the president of the United States.”

Psaki then claimed the administration has kept from being distracted by avoiding having Biden do more consistent press conferences in which he would have to answer questions about certain topics. She gave examples of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., impeachment, and Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo. She added that they wanted to focus his time on addressing subjects that they claim the American people care more about, such as the coronavirus pandemic and the economy. — FoxNews

He’s going to do what he wants? Are you sure about that?

How many times did he look like a lost puppy up there waiting for his next stage directions? How many times was his feed cut off, or was he whisked away by handlers, or did he say he would be ‘in trouble’ for his interactions with reporters? What about the binders full of cheat sheets with the scripted list of which reporter he is supposed to call on, and in what order? The curated list of reporters comprised of sycophantic loyalists, one might add.

Biden rarely takes more than about three questions after any press appearance.

Contrast that against Trump’s daily press gaggles on his way to boarding Marine One where he would field hostile questions with detailed off-the-cuff answers for sometimes 30 minutes or more.

There’s a reason people are asking questions about why Biden is ghosting the press – especially the hostile media. They wonder if Biden is anything more than placeholder puppet while someone else pulls his strings.

And now

If this avoidance is prompting questions among Americans about this ability to perform as President… what are our enemies seeing?
